'House was cute and just as advertised. The neighborhood is perfectly located to walk into town for dinner or coffee and there are deer all over the place. We’d wake in the morning to have deer and even fawns right by the front door! The owner was great and checked up on us to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay again.'

'This lake house was amazing! It was private, quiet & relaxing. We took our family of 11 to the lake for 9 days. The views were even better than the photos. The beds were very comfortable and everyone enjoyed all of the lake toys that are available to the renters. Shannon was great to work with and was very helpful. We hope to come back next summer. 'The rental was exactly as advertised. Everything seemed very new and clean. The kitchen was well appointed and the entire small house was amazingly efficient in design. The owners were very attentive and very friendly. The lake was only steps from the unit and there were various water toys and kayaks available. Really enjoyable stay. '

'When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. I cannot say enough great things about tis property. We looked forward to having coffee on our back deck in the morning. We actually had a four-day event in...

'We really enjoyed our stay and Colin was an excellent host. He was extremely responsive, and the property was in great shape and as advertised. In addition, we really appreciated the fact that the unit was fully stocked with utensils, dish soap, and other small items that can get overlooked When traveling. He even left us a bottle of wine on the counter. The location was nice and about 50 feet from the water. Just know there is a busy marina next-door that has quite a bit of activity going on...
