I wrote to the property with no response. The staff was very nice and helpful, but was disappointed with everything else. The pool wasn’t open and the website doesn’t state that. The restaurant wasn’t open you could only order food at the bar and it was very understaffed. There was construction so the oceanfront view we booked was blocked by scaffolding. Overall not a great experience. My children and myself were disappointed.

We paid for an ocean view suite and the entire ocean side had scaffolding on it. I know they are going to come on here and say that the website discussed the obstructed view, but we should have never been charged for that view. We had no remotes for either TV in the room. Room keys routinely don’t work (happened to multiple people in our party) Furnishings in the room need updates and most of your staff are just plain out rude.

I do not often take the time to write a specific review, but I decided my experience during my recent stays at your hotel warranted one. It is not common in today’s business environment to have such a warm and friendly interaction with a service person of any level as my girlfriend Susan and I have had with Jeannette. We met her at check in during our first stay in January. From the first introduction Jeannette made us feel as though we were visiting and staying with friends. To have such a warm and welcoming experience at check- in flowed thru the stay and made our weekend that more special. Jeannette’s energy and sincere warm personality could be used in managerial training to demonstrate how customer service and interactions should be conducted. The most impressive quality of Jeannette is that she IS that type person and her personality is sincere. You are lucky and wise to have selected someone like her to be the initial person of contact to your guests. Obviously Jeannette is the representation people first meet and is such an important position for your company. She displays to customers the brand and type establishment I know you would desire to put in front of your clientele. A loyal customer in the future Sincerely Paul Meyer

At approx 11pm at night I was laying in bed watching television enjoying privacy as anyone should when staying at your hotel. My door was opened by a strange man who had a key to my room. I screamed in fear and he then shut the door. I called the front desk and was told they would review the camera. Nobody called back with any sort of explanation. I was scared, nervous and feeling very stressed through the entire night. Could not sleep and was up at 6 am. I stayed to get away from life stresses and enjoy a night of calm. I very politely went to the front desk on Saturday am and asked if something could be done some sort or reimbursement or even a gift card for another stay. I live in the area and have suggested the hotel to many family and friends when visiting. I also asked for an explanation and was told it was the engineer. a male engineer should not be entering g any rooms at 11 pm at night on a Friday night. The sorry that I was given was insignificant and unacceptable. Mistake or not it was inappropriate and terrifying. My night was completely ruined and I remained uncomfortable throughout the remainder of my stay. Please reconsider how This was handled. I would like to be compensated in some way. Please allow me to get the bad taste out of my mouth and allow for another chance to support your business and continue to speak highly of your quality. We absolutely loved the view and the location right near the boardwalk but were disappointed that we had paid for an oceanfront room, only to discover upon arriving that the view was significantly blocked by the scaffolding in front of the building. It would have been helpful to know about that. But everything else was fantastic. We especially appreciated the voucher for the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service everywhere was excellent.

Wonderful stay during the quiet off-season
Beautiful setting right on the boardwalk. In room: Very comfortable bed! Also a fridge but no microwave. Only drawback to me: an almost complete lack of horizontal space to eat or work on. This may be intentional, as it makes you want to go down to the lovely restaurant area. The restaurant is chic and relaxing with tasteful decor, fine food and an ocean view. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Beauty on the Beach
Great experience. Beautiful hotel and I luckily had a room with a view. There was a little mix-up with my reservation, but the attendant calmly and carefully took care of it and found the error. There was some adjustment to the heating system in the room, but it was nothing to affect the overall stay. Lovely experience.
