Deze vakantie woning is slechts voetstappen naar de rivier. Met directe toegang tot het water kunt u genieten van de activiteiten van kanoën, kajakken, paddle boarding of waterskiën door veel van de verborgen scènes van Prince Edward Island. De Riverfront Skiff bevindt zich op de meest schilderachtige en gewilde plekken op Prince Edward Island - 'The Sou'West River'.

Genesteld in de glooiende heuvels van het eiland, bent u slechts enkele minuten verwijderd van de stranden buiten de gebaande paden zoals - 'Cousin's Shore' en het razend populaire 'Cavendish Beach', 'Thunder Cove' en 'Twin Shores'. Restaurants zoals Sou'West Bar & Grill, Carr's Oyster Bar en de Table Culinary Studio liggen net om de hoek in het verbluffend mooie New London & Stanley Bridge.

Als u op zoek bent naar zeevruchten kopen, bent u op de juiste plek! Met enkele van de vriendelijkste vissers rond - verse kreeft, zijn oesters en mosselen nooit moeilijk te vinden. Iconische toeristische bestemmingen in Prince Edward Island zijn overal om ons heen, waaronder het dorpsaardewerk, het geboorteplaatsje Lucy Maud Montgomery, het Burlington Amusement Park en het Anne of Green Gables Museum om er maar een paar te noemen. Met veel te zien en te ervaren zijn we in een perfecte locatie voor alle leeftijden. Of het nu gaat om rust en stilte, u bent op zoek naar leuke dagen met watersport - de Riverfront Skiff is waar u wilt zijn.

Ons 2 slaapkamer vakantiecomplex beschikt over een onlangs gerenoveerde moderne keuken en badkamer. De Riverfront Skiff is goed uitgerust met airconditioning / warmtepomp, alle nieuwe apparaten, waaronder koelkast, gasfornuis en magnetron. Inbegrepen voorzieningen zijn - BBQ, Fire Pit, gratis high speed internet WiFi-toegang, satelliet-tv, wasmachine en droger en alle nieuwe meubels, matrassen, kussens en beddengoed.

Check in: 15:00 en Check Out 10:00 - er kan een beetje flexibiliteit zijn op basis van bezetting, dus voel je vrij om daarover tijdens je verblijf te vragen :) Als er iets is dat je gemist hebt dat je nieuwsgierig bent, vraag dan en wij Zal je meteen terugkomen!

Great spot

Very clean and peaceful. On the water (river) but no real water access. Listing eludes that there is "water access" but shore is steep and would be difficult to launch a kayak if you brought one. That said... Would certainly recommend it and stay again.

Riverside Skiff

A lovely little cottage on Long River. Check in was easy, and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. We especially liked the calm view from the porch where we had our morning coffee. There are quiet neighbours on either side and the people around are friendly. Would recommend this to anyone making a trip to PEI.

Not Happy with Our Stay

The location is very nice. They have everything you need for your stay. The tv did not work at all. The owner did not seem to really care. We called him when we arrived and he was not very quick to respond. He then nessaged the following morning to say someone was going to come by 11 a.m. We waited until then and nobody showed up. I said we were going out for awhile and they could come by another time. Never heard from him again. I also was disappointed about the cleanliness. As soon as we arrived, I swept the floor and sent him a picture of the dirt to show it wasn't very clean. The place is very tidy but the sofa and reclining chair need a cleaning. We couldn't sleep in the double bed because it was so uncomfortable. We slept on the pull out sofa which to my surprise when I opened it, had left over chips in the bottom of the box frame. The ceiling fans have dust on them, so we never turned them on. The bbq was so dirty that we didn't want to use it. I told the owner about the few things that we were not happy about and he said he found it a bit surprising because his cleaners always do a great job. There was no radio or tv for the whole time we were there, so the nights were long and boring. I would not stay there again.

Chalet bien situé et très belle vue. À notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que bien des choses manquaient dans la cuisine (aucun verre à vin ou verre à eau (j'ai dû aller en acheter), minimum de vaisselle, réservoir du BBQ vide) Deux chaises de la cuisine étaient brisées, machine à café Keurig ne fonctionnait pas, BBQ très sale ainsi que le four dans la cuisine. Pas de séchoir. Incapable d'ouvrir la fenêtre de la chambre principale, l'interrupteur de la lumière de la cuisine défectueux, le balcon n'est pas entretenu etc... Donc, nous avons été un peu déçus. Ce sont des choses que le propriétaire peut fixer. On m'avait dit que nous pouvions se baigner à partir du bord de l'eau... NON impossible avec les algues. Nous avons aimé les alentours mais je ne louerais pas cette propriété une autre fois.

Cottage was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Very close to Sou'West restaurant - very good food! Curtis was very quick to answer any of our questions and checked in mid week to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely go there again! Was nice, but needs some maintenance

After checkin, the host stopped communicating, but for one request for a new propane tank which wasn’t delivered. Lock box for key was not obvious to find, some instruction would have been appreciated. Floor and rug were dirty. Only broom provided. Request for a vacuum to clean the shag pile rug was not responded to. The rug was full of debris and pet hair. Needed maintenance such as new cups (what is there is a mix of small useless cups), battery in the clock, light fix in the laundry shed, full propane… a lot of little things that would be easy to make someone’s stay more seamless. The master bed mattress is like sleeping on a bouncy castle. Nothing that ruined our stay. The location was peaceful and neighbours were friendly. Close to local towns for groceries and beach access. We loved the area, but wouldn’t rent from this host again.

Relaxing but could have been better.

The patio needs repairs. The Cottage is very nice and a prefect size for my husband and out small dog. The double bed was so hard that when we woke up and took a deep breath it hurt our ribs. There was one single bed that was really nice but the other one was really hard. My husband and i slept in the livingroom on the couch that pulls into a bed. The cottage needs dish cloths, compost bags and a bags. The hot water took a really long time to heat up. The tv is what we use to settle before bed and we couldnt watch tv due to not ( ITune Account) They had a Apple tv box. They had a bell dish and wires in the cottage but no box. Thanks to having the internet we got to watch netflix. There was no radio in the cottage. There should be more clocks in the cottage. The view in the morning and evening was so amazing with the sun rise and the sunset . It was a photographing dream place to take pictures.

Quiet and quaint

The cottage itself is clean and absolutely darling. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 for a cozy getaway. It was quiet and peaceful down a red dirt road with no other neighbours around when we were there except the local fox. The sunsets and sunrises over the River were so beautiful to take in. The only thing I would mention is for some reason the TV didn’t work, including our Netflix as it said an Apple sign in needed updating. But we really didn’t come to watch TV, so it didn’t bother us in the least.
