Great Vacation!

The property was very clean, and only a 5 minute walk to a private beach! The beach was great! It was not crowded at all. We had everything we needed for a great stay. There were beach chairs, a beach wagon, towels, beach toys, and two bicycles. Our 17 year old loved exploring the island on a bicycle. Raquel was a great host. She was very quick to respond to messages. She also checked with us to make sure everything was going good. Loved our stay!!

Clean, open, accessible!

Loved this property! While the house is smallish, you’d never know - the space is open and used so wisely! Every effort has been made to make this a welcoming, appealing home…from the decor to the extras. One thing to note, while it is never expected, I personally appreciate having things available at the house to use, like bikes and salt and extra TP and more. While we often don’t even use them, it feels generous and like home. I’ve been to vrbos that don’t provide a broom for me to sweep up, or an extra trash bag if we go through several! It also makes me more willing to leave things there that others can use, like ketchup or an extra utensil we purchased while on our trip. My family had a wonderful stay, would visit again, and I’d highly recommend it to others. Thank you!

Great place for our 10 day Spring Break stay

The home is nicer than pictured. The place was very clean when we arrived. The canal was nice and quiet. We had some minor draining issues but that was fixed while we were there. There were plenty of towels of 4 people or more. I wouldn't count on using the sleeper sofa unless it's for small children who can sleep on anything. The two full sized beds weren't the most comfortable but it worked for us. All the linens smelt very fresh and clean. Our kids loved the uno cards (other games available too). The TV streaming was a nice plus for the kids. That navy couch was actually very comfortable. The beach was 0.35 miles from the door to sand (beyond the greens), a 5 minute walk or longer with a fully loaded wagon which is provided. This was very nice, and we used it every day. For families with young children, there aren't any real beach toys or toys in the home (just fyi). We cooked almost every meal and were able to work with what was provided in the kitchen. It was so nice to have a very quiet spring break on the gulf coast. Thanks for the stay!

Great location !

The house was very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had a problem with the ice maker and needed a couple of kitchen items. Raquel was very responsive, and ordered the items we needed. We enjoyed our stay here, thanks, Raquel!

Great stay, quiet and relaxing.

My wife and I spent 13 days here and we’re thrilled with our experience. Home was clean and very cozy, furnishings comfortable, with plenty of beach and bath towels. A definite plus having a washer and dryer on-site. The second bath was closet-like but functional. The beach was about an 8 min walk and the provided chairs and wagon were very convenient. As mentioned in previous reviews Harry’s Deli (and restaurant & convenient store) were within a block or so as is a Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed Harry’s take and bake offerings from the deli. The neighborhood is friendly and generally quiet as there seems to be the usual flow of landscapers and contractors, a staple to any resort community. Our hosts responded quickly and kindly to a questions and requests.

Nice Surprises

The owners have anticipated most of your needs- Beach chairs, wagon, bikes, towels - there are even beach bags and straw hats! Very peaceful vibe and decor. Short walk to the beach. Coffee shop, Mexican restaurant and Harry's restaurant are less than a block walk. The bathroom arrangement was different than we anticipated- the main bath is in the hall between the two bedrooms and the 2nd is on the other end of the house, right off the laundry room. Leading up to and during the stay, the host was proactively communicative and responded to our questions quickly.

Great quiet spot.

Our family decided to get out of the tourist meccah of Orlando and vacation on the Gulf of Mexico. Great spot. Decorations and appointments were welcome. Being on the canal made for a great entry way to the bay. Got to see dolphins right at the end of the canal. I would recommend.

This was such a lovely home! And the host was so prompt to answer any questions.

The canals behind the house was so much fun to kayak through. We saw all kinds of fish, jellyfish & even saw two dolphins, we also saw a variety of birds. We went night fishing & caught some very fun catfish. Threw them back since they aren’t good eating. The house was perfect for us & so much was included, we just brought our swimsuits & a few changes of clothes. With washer/dryer on site it was so easy to come back from the beach and wash everything to get ready for next day. A+ rating!

Cozy, excellent location, clean!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, cozy and so close to the beach and local shops/restaurants. We brought our bikes and enjoyed short rides to the market. My toddler got to visit the fire station (we ran into it on our walk!). The home is fully updated and has a nice open feel. We felt very welcome. More like a home away from home. Only things I could suggest are a guest book, 1 or 2 extra rolls of toilet paper and helping others understand that the kayaks pictured may not be ridden. Very nice, clear and fast communication as well. Thank you so much Raquel!!

Clean and quiet - perfect for adults & teens!

We had a wonderful stay at this property for spring break in April 2022. The owners were kind and very responsive to our questions. It was super clean and just as pictured. About a 5 min walk to the beach and the canal to the bay was in the backyard. Quick walk to boba tea and Harrys, which is a restaurant, convenience store, and deli (3 separate building, same owner)! We grabbed Harrys sandwiches several days and headed to the beach. Lunch there was fab too. We did Instacart for groceries on our first day and never went to Publix - just supplemented what we needed with the offerings at the convenient store (alcohol, tp, cereal). . Dry Dock, Shore and St. Armand’s Circle are nearby. Quiet street but construction started at 8a everyday directly across the street which the teens didn’t love! Cute home - looks recently upgraded with a wonderful well-stocked kitchen, sitting area and main bath. Big bedrooms. 2nd bath is in back on smallish side - home was perfect for 4. Loved the beach wagon - made the walk to the beach super convenient. Overall a 10/10 - only wish we could have had better weather and stayed another week! Bravo!

Wonderful Property & Host!

The house was clean and beautiful and exactly as described. There were plenty of towels for the beach and showers, a wagon, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The house was large and clean and we had a great time!

Perfect home for LBK visit

We are happy we booked this Clean and beautiful bungalow right on the canal. We enjoyed seeing water birds right out the spacious windows. We loved the surfer vibe decor and open floor plan. It was the perfect location for a quick walk to the beach and easy drive to all of the restaurants, shopping and parks we wanted to go to. Harry’s restaurant and small grocery/deli were also within walking distance and delicious. Highly recommend!

Great Stay!

Couldn’t be more happier with staying at this house! It was very clean and had very cute decor! The owners were very nice and asked if we needed anything mid stay. The house came with everything you could need bath and beach towels, linens and kitchen was well stocked with supplies! I would recommend anyone staying in longboat key to stay at this rental, very close walk to the beach! Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

AMAZING!!!!!!

WOW! What an absoutely amazing place to stay. Raquel's bunaglow was perfect for us! There were 4 of us and it was perfect. It is so sweet, lovely, homey and well stocked. There was plenty of room. We loved that there was all the beach stuff-chairs, towels, etc....and the WAGON which was delightful in taking the everything to the ocean.We have been going to LBK for 16 years and the bunglaow was super close to everything.. Publix, amazing restaurants, St. Aramands circle and the Mote Aqauriaum Raquel was so wonderful. .She was very responsive to any questions and requests I asked. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful getaway you cannot make a better choice! We will be going back if she will have us!!!!
