Lee thank you for your feed back. I am sorry your were unhappy with some of the items with your stay. We have not had anyone complain about the bed mattresses since we purchased new ones. It's hard to please everyone on the firmness of a mattresses. The salesperson had recommended this type of mattresses to try and accommodate everyone. The pet charge is a standard rate for the area at other resorts and VRBO'S in the area. This price was disclosed before your arrival. Pets may be left at home with family or put into kennels. This was your decision to bring your dogs. The cleaning fee of $110 is also disclosed at the time of booking. The cleaning charge is paid to the cleaners that come keep the cabin clean for our guest. Taking the sheets off the used beds, taking out the garbage and cleaning the dishes don't seem like you cleaned the whole cabin before you left. The cabin is located on a hill with the 100 foot set back set up by the county. We have a path that leads to a paved cart path. Stairs with a railing that leads to the dock. Located in a quite bay is an pretty nice setting. Loons, deer and frogs crocking at night is very relaxing. Property is sprayed for misquotes on a monthly basis to help people enjoy the outdoors. Again I am sorry you were unhappy but reading many other quest commits they seem to disagree!

Julia as far as the bees by the dock is concerned we do live in the woods on a lake. You called and informed my of this situation. I had mentioned we were not on site and would take care of them in the early morning hours to make sure to kill the wasp in the hive. They are out and about drunung the day and spend the night inside the hive. I tried to explain this to you but you were not happy I left our friends house from dinner to take care of the wasp. I also sprayed them early in the morning to make sure they would not bother you agoin. You saw Jill at the end of the driveway on your way out to town. You complained about your husbands wasp sting. Jill left you some Benedryl and anti itch lotion in the door. Just to remind you this was after the driveway was completed on a separate day. We had no control on when they were going to come a s do the driveway repair. This repair was from the septic line that had broke last fall which lead from the guest cabin to the septic tank. We did give you a heads up that this might be Taking place on our stay. The workers arrived at 8 am and were off the property by 2 pm. You had chosen to leave the cabin and not stick around the property to enjoy the dock area, canoe or paddle boards which you used every other day. Jill and I thought we should do something for you for this inconvenience. We personally came over to apologize. We at that time handed you a card along with a $50 visa gift card, which you accept. Now after leaving the property, which was at 9:30 am when check out is by 9 am you are requesting a full night refund. This seams a little over the top as you were happy to accept the gift and not leave it behind? We feel like we went above and beyond to accommodate you and your family.
