Lakehouse for rent in beautiful lake Istokpoga. Istokpoga is a 27-thousand-acre, premier fishing lake well known for many record size bass and good speckle perch (crappy) fishing. Rated the third best fishing lake in Florida, Istokpoga attracts dozens of tournaments every year. The house is in the very desired little lake area, with immediate access to the lake. The main house features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an in-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full-size bed. In addition, the house has a bunkroom with two twin over full bunks (4 beds). The house has separate in-laws’ quarters or studio which features a full kitchen, full bathroom, and a queen-size bed. The boat house has a lift which could accommodate a V hull or a pontoon boat. The property is in the Estates of Sebring Park community, a very safe and peaceful neighborhood. The house is 7.8 miles from Sebring International Raceway and a 1.3 mile from the favored Gator Shack Restaurant. The house is 7.5 miles from Hickory Hammocks Wildlife Management Area. Visitors to the WMA have seen white-tailed deer, feral hogs, wild turkey, gopher tortoises, caracaras, and swallow-tailed kites in the summer. Just eighteen miles away is Highlands Hammocks State Park. "Take a journey back in time to an ancient hammock and discover endangered species and beautiful delicate ecosystems" Other points of interests and activities around the area include Airboat tours, Childrens Museum of the Highlands, Lost mines of Atlantis, Secret Gardens Winery and Farms, Sebring Downtown Historic District, Military Sea Service Museum, and Highlands Museum of the Arts.

Fishing and relaxation
I strongly advise anyone seeking a getaway for fishing on one of Florida's most stunning lakes to rent this house. The owner was incredibly responsive and provided valuable insights about the lake. The house itself was generously spacious, and the dock is positioned at one of the prime fishing spots on the entire lake. We'll certainly be returning.

Great getaway spot
Spent a week bass fishing the lake, super convenient to leave boat out back on lift over night. Great neighbors, clean neighborhood, great location. Gator shack is a mile away, fun bar with great food. Highly recommend the stay, great experience.
