The singular positive aspect of this hotel was the front desk staff. The gentleman was humorous and in good spirits considering the environment he works in. We checked in at about 9pm and checked out at about 10pm. This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever booked. The front entrance reaked of lingering marijuana and cigarette smoke on what is supposed to be a smoke-free establishment. Upon arriving on our floor, it smelled of wet, musty, dirty, carpet and no air flowing throughout the building. It is a pet friendly hotel but occupants did not seem bothered to clean up after their pets as there was dog poop in the lobby. We booked 2 rooms and both rooms had dirty top covers on the beds as if previous occupants placed their dirty luggage on the beds. The floors were stained and sticky. They require everyone over the age of 18 to provide a valid State ID, which i have never heard of prior to this booking. For our health and safety we could not stay at this hotel. This property is grossly mismanaged and clearly not cared for. I would not in good conscience recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay here. The staff are super friendly, always greeting us every morning and they adored my dog. The hotel had everything I needed for my stay including a comfy bed, clean bathroom, laundry room and a grab & go breakfast. The only disadvantage I had was the location as it’s out of the way from the tourist attractions (I.e Hollywood, Venice Beach etc.) and we got stuck in hours of traffic at times. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Filthy, smelly, they will tell you with a straight face they only clean every 8 days. The whole building smells like dirt and mold when you step inside. You have to beg for towels and hope someone is at the front desk. The staff disappear for hours at a time. Avoid this place like the plague. We had to spray lemon spray and use candles just to make the room have a somewhat okay smell which would return back to normal after a few hours anyway. Worst hotel I have ever been to.

The laundry room is out of service, so you have to go to the nearby laundromats (very near and open from 5am to 2am.), not a big deal for us. Other than that, a great stay, very respectful staff, the room got everything we needed for a nice family vacation.

The place was relatively clean. The heat did not work great in the room but the front desk had an extra blanket available. The 1st night stay was fine other than I was cold. (That's when I figured out the heat didn't work great.) The second night was SO noisy that, even with ear plugs that I had brought, I couldn't sleep. Lots of banging. Not sure what that was all about, but I attempted to call the front desk but just received a voice message asking if I wanted to make a reservation, so I hung up, thinking the noise might just stop. 20 min later is was still going on. It was 10:40 pm at this point. I called to the front desk again and received an answer. the noise did not stop for anther 20 min. While the staff was very nice, I'm not sure if I would stay at this hotel again. I only stayed here because it was close to where my friend lives, but once i was in the area, I saw there were better hotel chains to choose from. I doubt I would have to deal with the noise at a Marriot and there was one right down the road.

While the room itself was comfortable and quiet, there were no toilertries other than toilet paper and towels. No hand soap or shampoo/conditioner. We were tild when we checked in that if we needed anything like plates for the kitchen, they had them we just needed to ask for them and same for coffee pot but no mention that we needed to ask for hand soap...which i think is is pretty neccessary item for a bathroom. So maybe people are running around the hotel with unclean hands ?? ✋️ IDK.

My stay was actually pretty good and didn't have any complaints. It was what happened after I left the property that has me deeply concerned. The GM verbally disclosed personal information about my stay to a 3rd party. Without warrant, consent and/or court order. This breach of privacy violates CA very strict Consumer Protection Laws. It is concerning but what was most concerning is that he apparently does this often - his words not mine

Like how close it was from Knotts. I didn't like the smell of the facility and room. Bathroom sink was clogged and there was no exhaust?!?.
