The room was good, although some basic things where missing like a refrigerator and coffee. However the biggest bummer besides the expensive parking was the neighborhood it was located in. Everywhere homeless and very shady people. At night my wife didn't dear to go out cause of this. I'm a smoker myself so i went out regulary just to smoke and stand in front of the hotel where in total 4 times strange folks tried to pull something off. I even get asked by some guy where i had my wallet. The hotel is okay, but the surroundings are not pleasant at least to say.

This was an okay hotel. We stayed here to go to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Nice enough inside and the staff was very friendly. Right across the street (to the left side of the lobby) are a bunch of homeless people living in tents. I know it’s how it is in LA, but we paid a lot for the room. We had one yelling at nothing right by us as we waited for an Uber ride at the front of the hotel. The room itself was okay. There was a little wear and tear on the carpet by the bathroom and the couch had whitish smudges on it. We didn’t sit on that. Bed was comfy and clean. The entire room besides the couch was really clean. We did have a great view of the Hollywood sign though. Windows in the whole hotel need a cleaning. It has rained a lot in LA recently, but I did notice the windows looking hazy in the hallway and our room.

The lobby and dining areas were nice, modern, and clean. The room’s furniture and mattress could use a refresh (uncomfortable thin mattress, and the cabinetry and couches had lots of visible wear/blemishes in our room). Great 15th floor views of the Hollywood city. Valet attendant was more interested in his cellphone than he was in coming to open our car door after we were returning for the night on one occasion. Otherwise it was a great stay. Expected a bit more quality at this price point and star level. 3.5 stars would be more accurate.

Love the pool table in the bar. The bar is very comfortable as are the rooms. Nice views of the LA skyline from the high-rise rooms. Staff are very friendly & accommodating.

Thank you so much for staying with us. While we do have some unhoused people around our hotel, they are actually incredibly respectful and very concerned about the area remaining safe as they call this area home temporarily. We have never had any type of issue with guest safety in the area.

Great location for all that we wanted to do like Walk of fame, Griffith Park, downtown LA (close to Hollywood/Vine metro), comedy club (a quick Uber to West Hollywood). Nice lobby hangout, yummy pizzas at their restaurant and great city view from our room. Would stay here again.

As always, the property was great and the staff were amazing! The water did not get very hot, but other than it, we enjoyed our stay! Shout out to the bartended from Oklahoma…she was AMAZING!

During our stay, we have experienced power outage for the first night. The hotel did acted accordingly by providing us with bottle water and luminated stick. It would be better if the hotel can provide update on service disruption by sending text or email to the client during such time.

Unfortunately, as it happened so late in the evening (close to midnight), we did not receive updates from the LADWP until early the next morning. We absolutely love this hotel. This is our go-to spot anytime we have an event in Hollywood-concerts at the Bowl, Magic Castle, and theater events are super easy to get to from here. The rooms are great, fantastic views, and trendy bar. We will be back
