The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was really friendly and allowed us to do an early check in free of charge. Very nice hotel for the price! Highly recommend!

This has been the worse stays at any motel i have Ever been too . The ceiling was falling apart the curtains barely closed any one could see in my room . There was holes in the bathroom . The toilet didn’t flush properly. The bedding smelled like mildew the towels had bleach stains on them as if they were used to clean with . I tried Switching rooms but they said no rooms available, i teied Getting a refund and they said no refund , i will Definitely be escalating this motel cause it’s so bad !

Do not stay here you will regret it
Place is absolutely disgusting. The first room had lipstick on the pillows as well as other dark stains on the sheets. It was clear that they did not change the bedding after the last person had the room. Then there was the bathroom. There was pubic hair on the bathtub, no toilet paper, and no clean towels. The bathroom had graffiti etched into the countertop as well as the doorframes. I had asked for a non-smoking room, and when I walked in the room, it smelled like cigarettes. There was also an ashtray on the table. The room also smells like mold. The TV was only 18 inches and did not work. I requested to change rooms and when I did, it was pretty much the same thing. The bed did look like it was changed, but everything else was the same including the graffiti etched into the counter and pubic hair all over the bathtub and a non working tv. This room also did not have any towels or toilet paper. This room also smells disgusting just like the previous room and it was supposed to be non-smoking. I cannot imagine what people are going through who decide to stay at this hotel. I left immediately. This place looks like a crack, hotel/hooker spot, on a horror movie. When I complained to the manager at the front desk he said “well it’s not the Ritz Carlton, you know?” Lol, does it really need to be the Ritz Carlton for a guest to have clean towels, bedding, and a fresh smelling room?

Worse motel experience in my life. A stranger knocking on the door at 2am; sink needed repair; parking area was borderline dangerous. We had to pay a $20 deposit just to use the TV remote. We come to Monterey Park 3 to 4 times a year, but don't plan to stay here again.

As soon as you open door to room it lets out a really bad smell out from room. Carpet looked dirty didn’t even looked clean, bathroom dirty and on top of that roaches in the room. Terrible service definitely will never book here again!!!

Upon initial arrival it was not bad. I had a strange feeling when I needed to give the office $10 in cash in order to get the key card and the remote, but looked past it. I shouldn’t have. Upon entry into room there was a faint smell of smoke. The door only had the one lock attached to handle and it wasn’t even screwed in all the way and had a large crunch of door missing around lock. Window did not lock. Fridge was not clean. There was hair in the bed, bathroom towels were frayed, corners of bathroom were very dirty and hair on floor. Bathroom fan was extremely dirty and hanging from ceiling. There was a large hole cut out of the wall under the bathroom sink. I checked bed for cleanliness and found hairs. I decided to not stay there, I returned two days later to check out, as I returned to the room to get the remote in order to get my $10 back, the room smelled strongly of smoke and bed was exactly as I left it with sheet pulled back. The attendant did not speak English so very difficult to communicate, had a hard time checking me out, refused to return the copy of my license back to me and did not want to give me a copy of the receipt. I was clearly not their normal clientele, but when booking online it’s difficult to tell. I felt unsafe and uneasy in the very little time I stayed there, I’m shocked at the cost of this place considered the actual conditions.

Great neighborhood!
A bit old and run down but the bed was comfortable, the staff was nice, the area/neighborhood fantastic and there were no bugs! We felt very safe walking around to go shopping and get some food.
