I checked into Le Bon Hotel and left the same day because the room and premises were unsafe and completely misrepresented. Management refused to refund even a single night.
The room smelled strongly of sewage mixed with bleach, suggesting an attempt to mask serious plumbing issues. The toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom overall felt unsanitary. The “queen bed” was a blatant deception: a queen mattress resting on a twin box spring, with exposed metal rods underneath that literally dig into your back. It is not just uncomfortable—it’s dangerous.
There was no on-site staff or security whatsoever. The only “assistance” available was a remote attendant on a kiosk, apparently located in another country, with no ability to address safety, sanitation, or mechanical issues in real time. This is not a hotel—it’s an unattended building renting rooms.
Additional issues included:
• Poorly mounted TV and exposed wiring
• Cracked flooring and debris
• Broken fixtures and visible damage throughout the room
• No sense of security in the building at all
I did not feel safe staying the night and made the responsible decision to leave. Refusing a refund under these conditions is unacceptable and predatory.
This property should not be operating as a hotel in its current condition. Travelers should be aware that the photos and descriptions do not reflect reality. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
