Ich habe die Küche geliebt!
Das Tiny Häschen ist ruhig in einem Hinterhof gelegen. Parkplatz auf der Straße vor dem Haus war immer frei, ansonsten waren genug Parkmöglichkeiten in der Straße. Das Tiny Haus ist stylisch und gut eingerichtet. Da wir zusätzlichen, sehr kuschligen und warme Decken hatten, haben wir die Heizung nicht benötigt, bzw. nicht eingeschaltet. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Ich habe jeden Morgen so gerne den Kaffee gekocht und dabei in der Küche gesessen. Selbst die Küche fand ich gemütlich. Wir haben nur Kaffee gekauft, Filtertüte war vorhanden. Viel haben wir nicht gekocht, aber an der Ausstattung hat es nicht gelegen. Die Küche war mega ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Wir können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr gut, sie hat immer innerhalb von paar Minuten geantwortet.

MINOR GLITCHES
Large backyard with astroturf suitable for frisbee, etc. Nice rear cottage. Heater a little slow to warm up interior, but nice soft additional blankets. Couldn't get either TV to go beyond homepage after futzing with all buttons on remotes (not a biggie in that we hadn't really gone on vacation in order to watch TV).

It’s a nice cozy place, with everything you need for a stay. Not to far from any necessities and a short drive into Santa Clarita, Burbank or Los Angeles. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would absolutely stay again in the future.

Casita
The casita is a decent size and we fit 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. It was an awkward arrival as the main house was also rented out and the occupants of that house were also arriving at the same time. They were asking us if we were also staying there and said they had booked 1 1/2 months prior and seemed to be bothered about the “confusion.” We explained that we were renting the casita in the back and then they realized they were staying in the main house. We then headed through the side gate and were met by the cleaning person who said she hadn’t been told the casita was being rented out and wasn’t sure if it was clean. So we waited outside while she checked it out. She said it was clean and we were finally able to go inside. The casita was clean. The bed is comfortable but very squeaky. I was never able to figure out the dryer. I did not want to bother the manager, but you are able to if you really need it. We only had 1 partially used toilet paper roll and no more available, so we had to go out to buy more. For what we paid, we assumed we would have more available. Other than those issues, it was a good stay.

Little home away from home
The moment we opened the front door. It felt like home. This lovley and peaceful location was everything we needed for our little family of three. From the spacious background to the roomy bedroom and full kitchen. Great location from literally everything. Thank you again for having us. My husband, daughter and I were visiting friends in Sylmar. This home was a great option for us. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed to have meals at home. Much more comfortable than a hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

just what we needed
we needed a place to stay that was close to wedding festivities... we rented the main house and the back casita... would have been nice to have a discount when renting out the whole property at the same time. but that request was denied. it was easy to get in/out of the property, well kept, and we loved the kitchen... there were funny little signs written on paper towels all around the house, but we're not picky... it was just what we needed for the price.

Easy check in and out. Comfortable settings. I only recommend to update the WIFI strength in the bedroom-Roku and other apps kept freezing. Also, a USB wall plug-in would be helpful. I was lucky to have a apple charge box in my luggage but I rarely carry one.

Place was cute and great size for 3 adults. The only issues I had was getting in through the gate. I was struggling with key to turn. WiFi is not the greatest and had to use my hotspot. Other then that great location and I would definitely stay again! Thank you

Perfect Getaway
We flew in for a birthday party and stayed for 6 days. Most everything was in perfect working order. Couch could be a little more comfortable but for a sleeper it was ok. Had issues with the clothes dryer in the unit but there was a backup we used attached to the main house, so no real issue. We will be booking here for any future trips to visit family.

Great Place to Stay. Nice Garden and Play Area for Kids
Enjoyed staying with my wife and 2 Kids of age 3 & 9. Kids Enjoyed the place a lot. Great Garden and Play area. House is Clean as shown in Pictures and got extra Matress which helped us. Enough kitchen ware,utilities and Board Games for Kids. Neighbourhood is great and accessible to groceries and restaurants. Initially had one problem when Checked in, as we saw the attached restroom didn't had a door. We requested host about the same as that is not mentioned explicitly. Host understood our concern and immediately arranged a Seperator. Appreciate quick turnaround. Then our Vacation went well with kids. Thanks for arranging nice place to stay, we enjoyed explore Universal Studios and Sandiago while staying here.

Nice Stay!
Beautiful area and very welcoming area in front of the guest house we stayed in. Wasn’t completely sure if it was okay, but there was a trampoline in the yard that my kids played in and it was a really nice change of pace for us to be able to play in a yard.

Place was comfortable and private. It had everything needed but it was quite dirty with hairballs all over, even in closet and cabinets. The faucet handles were grimy. Daisy, the owner was excellent to help us with anything, like working the locks and she was very accommodating to our schedule when checking in.

It looked like the cleaning people forgot to clean the toilet and I’m pretty sure by the 1/4” of dust on the ceiling fans that they have never been cleaned. The faucet in the bathroom sink looked like it hadn’t been touched. I took pictures but there doesn’t seem to be a way to download them onto this review. I also agree with the multiple people who said there should be some type of privacy curtain on the front window. If u don’t close the bedroom door u can also be seen sleeping from the front windows. The smoke detector in the front room/kitchen is non existent. Just a hole in the ceiling with wires hanging down. I contacted the property mgr a couple of times before my stay with questions pertinent to the location and all I got each time were one word responses of yes or no. Certainly the least personable property mgr I’ve ever dealt with using VRBO. Guess I got what I paid for but will not be staying there again. Note to VRBO…if you are interested in seeing the photos I took please contact me directly.

My sincere apologies that you had this experience. I do tend to be short in my responses especially when I am asked very simple and direct questions like you asked. It looks like you were caught in the crossfire of my old cleaning lady. I tried my best to give her every opportunity to adjust but unfortunately it did not work out. I have since hired a new cleaning crew so hopefully the issues will be resolved. I wish you would have let me know about the issues you found so i could have tried to address them while you were there. Thank you for your detailed write up as it will certainly help me make sure the place is better for my next guests.

A weeks stay
We stayed with 4 people: me, my bf, and 2 friends. The host was responded pretty quickly which was nice. It was a little small for 4 ppl and I wish the bathroom wasn’t connected to the main room, so wouldn’t recommend for more then 2 ppl to stay. Neighborhood was very nice and safe. Unfortunately there was a few problems with the cleanliness of this place. It was dusty, the pull out mattress was disgusting, so I had to buy an air mattress since it was 4 of us. The dishes we wanted to use to cook had old food where someone did not wash it well enough. Some stains on pillows and couch, and it honestly just seemed like all she did was wash the linens. Everything else was clearly not wiped down very well, if at all. I had to go buy my own stuff to disinfect because I was grossed out. Ran out of of hand soap in bathroom and almost toilet paper, so not very well stocked. I would say that if you just need a place to sleep this is good, but if your looking for something nice to relax, keep looking. Overall we were out all day most of the days so it wasn’t all that bad, but definitely don’t think the cleaning fee should be charged considering it was very noticeable she didn’t clean much at all. On top of that there was a few other small issues that would have been nice to know about the stay. Overall rate 3 out of 5 stars.

Hi Elizabeth, I am sorry you had so many issues. I will let my cleaning lady know. The cleaning has never been an issue before. I have had several great reviews, so I am unsure what happened, but I will resolve it. I wish you had communicated these issues because I would have resolved them while you were here. I do my best for all my guests and would have loved the opportunity to do that for you.

Great location and lovely tiny home away from home!
My family of three really enjoyed our stay. The fact that all amenities were available to us (full functioning kitchen bathroom and even washer/dryer) it made the stay that much easier and comfortable. We have family in the area so the convenience of visiting was perfect. We’re California natives visiting from Texas so access to highways is super important and this place is the center of the major highways we typically traveled on. Definitely bookmarking this place for future trips back! Only con were the front windows that didn’t have blinds BUT it is facing a wall full of plants and trees so it didn’t take away from the comfort of this home away from home. :)

Overall this was a great stay! The space was so cute and clean. The kitchen was well equipped to cook meals and there were plenty of blankets and towels. The only suggestion I would have is to put curtains on the front door and windows fore more privacy.

Daisy's Guest Home was a dream!
This updated and state of the art renovated guest house gave us everything and more. The turfed back yard was comfy for laying out. We were extended permission to use the trampoline which was a hit for the kids. Small but super spacious. Definitely a home away from home. Comfy, quaint, CLEAN and quiet.
