'This place is the most beautiful place on earth I've ever been. On one side the beautiful ocean and on the other the middle of the jungle, with a river where we've seen alligators, and where swimming was therefore not allowed. The cabañas are gorgeous, with a lot of beautiful views. There are outdoors patios with hammocks and sunbeds and everything is meticulously kept and very clean. 'My stay was a respite from daily life, situated on a coastal bulff where the Tayrona river meets the sea. The sea was a little rough for normal beach activities but lying in a hamock listening to the waves crash and watching surfers was sooooo relaxing. The property is not super luxe but it is nicely finished and wel maintained and the staff are attentive and friendly. A great opportunity to practice Spanish since not a lot of English is spoken.
