Rustieke elegantie in Los Olivos

Slechts twee uur ten noorden van Los Angeles, 30 minuten. van Santa Barbara, gelegen in de gemeente Los Olivos, Santa Ynez Valley, vindt u de perfecte plek om te ONTSPANNEN, REFLECTEN en OPLADEN. Het huis ligt verscholen op een kleine heuvel omringd door volwassen eucalyptus-, pijnbomen- en peperbomen, op slechts twee blokken van het centrum van de stad, waar u naar het Corner Cafe kunt wandelen voor een ochtendlatte.

Loop naar verschillende (51 bij de laatste telling) eersteklas wijnproeflokalen, lunch in het Los Olivos Cafe, een locatie die te zien is in de film 'Sideways'. Verken ontspannen kunstgalerijen en antiekwinkels. Maak een rit door de Santa Ynez-vallei en ontdek meer dan 117 wijnmakerijen met enkele van de beste wijnen die in Californië zijn geproduceerd.

'S Avonds vindt u eersteklas eetgelegenheden in het Sides Restaurant by the Chef Brothers, Los Olivos Cafe en Petros als een van de beste in de vallei. Hoewel je misschien enkele beroemdheden tegenkomt, biedt Grapolos in Santa Ynez uitstekende Italiaanse gerechten.

Dit vernieuwde huis met drie slaapkamers en twee badkamers is comfortabel geschikt voor 4-6 volwassenen. Nieuwe kingsize en queensize bedden bevinden zich boven. Een bed op wieltjes bevindt zich in de slaapkamer beneden. Nieuwe kussens nu. (12/1/15)

Er is ook een extra slaapgedeelte op de zolder. Er is vlakke parkeergelegenheid voor maximaal vier auto's. De woonkamer heeft een leisteen surround, op afstand bedienbare open haard (van mei-sept), flat-panel HD-televisie, DVD / CD-spelers en WIFI en breedband internet.

Door de openslaande deuren, vlak naast de vernieuwde keuken, is er een groot redwood-dek. 30 jaar oude wijnstokken, espaliered op het hek en prieel rondom het gazon en de achtertuin. Rol de Santa Maria Bar-Be-Que uit en probeer je eigen Santa Maria tri-tip te grillen. Lees of ontspan gewoon in de hangmat in de achtertuin.

Elke zaterdag de NIEUWE !! Seizoensgebonden boerenmarkt, op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de accommodatie. Geniet van de zonsondergang met een glas wijn op het leisteenbalkon naast de meester.

En we zijn GROEN. We gebruiken alleen groene schoonmaakproducten - We gebruiken Meyers, Greenworks, Earth Friendly Products, Melaleuca, alleen groene Kirkland-producten. We recyclen en composteren. Je zult hier net als ik van je ervaring houden.

Cute house in a great location!

This house worked out perfectly for our group of friends staying for a couple days in the valley. Incredible location, and house is exactly as the pictures show. There was an AC issue when we first arrived it was fixed within minutes. Backyard area could use a tiny bit of maintenance--seat cushions were a little worse for wear and the string lights were mostly dead. Didn't take away from a great stay!

Ladies Wine Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The home is very nice with plenty of room. The outsipatio was You can’t beat the location. It’s a few steps from town that has some great tasting rooms and restaurants. You can also find some places with live music.

Great Location….BUT

Our son woke up in horror with what appeared to be rodent droppings on his pillow and the floor. He was in the room with the two twin beds. The property also has lots of spiders and cobwebs outside the door, patio, and gate area. The owner responded only by saying ‘ok I’m in it thanks’. Not sure if they meant to say on it or were actually in the house. Didn’t seem surprised, mortified, or apologetic. I also do not believe that we were the only renter to experience this. We are evaluating any health effects, and may have a further response for the owner and VRBO. See pictures included and make your own conclusion.

Nice place, Hidden but Central

Rustic Aesthetic Comfy (like Los Olivos), and it is very convenient for walking around the middle of town, so we liked it a lot. Up on a little hill, hidden by trees, so feels private. Truly 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, as shown, and bonus bed on upstairs loft space. Nice yard and deck. Well equipped kitchen. Our only complaints were about small things: a couple of lights didn’t work, a bathtub valve that leaked (not an inconvenience for us), that sort of thing. So maybe needs a bit more hands-on maintenance and care, but overall very comfortable and excellent location for the price. We would certainly come back.

Nice house in a great location

Six of us really enjoyed our stay here - it was a very comfortable size for the group. The location was perfect - a couple of blocks from tasting rooms and restaurants, and short drives to other places in the region, like Solvang and Buellton. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.The master bedroom was the closest to Highway 154, so there was a bit of traffic noise from that room, though that did go away at night. It was never bad, though.

Perfect getaway

Came to Los Olivos with 2 friends and stayed for 4 nights. The second we parked the car I was in love! What a perfect place to stay. Cozy and well appointed. We loved the location - perfect for oh so quiet and peaceful early morning walks around the adorable neighborhoods. Evenings were easy for tastings - the location really was perfect. Everything so walkable. The patio was lovely to enjoy the wines we bought and all the bedrooms were super comfortable. We are already talking about making an annual visit to this lovely home. Great location

You can't beat the location, which is walking distance to everything downtown. The house is very outdated and needs some upkeep, especially the outside areas, all of which were too dirty to sit. Cobwebs and dirt everywhere. We cleaned the back porch so we could sit in the chairs. The upholstered chair is too dirty to clean or sit upon. The umbrella is so moldy, it should be thrown out. We wouldn't dare open it for fear of sending toxic spores everywhere. The inside was clean, but dated. The showers backed up into the bath tubs and the faucets in the bathrooms all leak. The location is ideal but we probably won't stay here again. Communication all good and checkin was easy.
