I’m very sorry your stay was not up to your expectations. I will immediately track down the comforter that had a smoke odor to it. We always encourage our guests to reach out if anything is not as excepted as we would have brought a new comforter to you as soon as possible. I’m not sure which rules you were referencing but it is not our intention at all to threaten. We want our guests to have a good time with respect for our home and our neighbors. Although we do list out the rules, I believe they are very normal but will review to ensure that. The fees we charge are at cost as we do not take a profit on them. They are required to maintain the upkeep of the home. Vrbo does charge an additional fee but I can not even see the amount of that fee and those funds do not come to us.

Sorry your stay was not up to your expectations and each of these issues will be investigated and addressed immediately. The home does have well water, and certain times of year the water does have an odor. We do have water filtration system and water softener. The water company has been dispatched to inspect to ensure it is working properly. We are in a flood plain, so we do not have a normal septic system. We do kindly ask that our guests not take overly long showers to keep the system working properly and to help keep our guest fees as low as possible. I will have our staff inspect our sheets for scratchiness, but we have never had this complaint before.
