  • Loop naar bijna alles wat je nodig hebt, restaurants, coffeeshops, boekhandels en boetieks! Dit huis is in de trendy Frankfort Ave-gang en ligt dicht bij alles te voet of een korte rit! We zijn een schoon huisdier gratis, onlangs gerenoveerde apt!

    De ruimte

    Ik moet zeggen dat ons huis een heel, heel fijn huis is, met een heldere trilstijl, in een veilige, rustige buurt! Dit is de plek waar je wilt verblijven! Loop naar zo veel van de meest bezochte restaurants, antiek- / tweedehandswinkels, boetieks en coffeeshops van Louisville! Dit gebied is echt een magische plek !!!

    De buurt

    Clifton is een wijk ten oosten van het centrum van Louisville, Kentucky, VS. Clifton is genoemd vanwege de heuvelachtige ligging aan de vallei van de Ohio River.

    In tegenstelling tot andere Louisville-buurten, werd Clifton ontwikkeld gedurende een periode van 60 jaar, met de eerste huizen gebouwd in de jaren 1860 naast de huizen gebouwd in de jaren 1910, hoewel bijna alle huizen in Victoriaanse stijlen werden gebouwd. De woonwijken zijn ook veel minder dicht dan andere nabijgelegen gebieden zoals Butchertown of de Original Highlands. De tolpoort van Louisville en Lexington, die nu Frankfort Avenue wordt genoemd, ging door het hart van het gebied en was bekleed met kleine winkeltjes.

    Het gebied begon te revitaliseren in de jaren negentig, toen talloze restaurants, boetieks en antiekwinkels opende langs Frankfort Avenue. Attracties in de omgeving vele restaurants, coffeeshops, boekhandels en tweedehands winkels!

Charming Property

Enjoyable Moms & Daughters Weekend

A friend and I met here (we live in different states and Louisville is about halfway) with our teenage daughters and everyone had a great time! Clean, plenty of room for teens and Moms to hang out in our own space, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen utensils need an update, but that is hard to manage in a rental property. Location was fantastic with plenty within walking distance and a short drive to everything else Louisville has to offer.

A wonderful and charming home. The owner has provided all you need to fix a meal, find things to do in the neighborhood, or tour the Bourbon trail. The house is well appointed and was well kept up. I would certainly stay there again if in the area,

Clean, close , comfortable

Very clean, close to up and coming neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. We made breakfast there every day. Stocked with what you need. Even hand soap and shampoo. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only downside, you rent half the house, the main floor. Other renters were not a problem at all, just unaware of that fact.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute house. The house was very conveniently located within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The house had everything we needed and we cooked many meals there. We did have some issues which the property owner responded to very promptly and took care of everything. Overall I would recommend this place. Parking was very convenient.

The property was located in walking distance of a lot of places to eat so that was great. Tom responded quickly to my questions and when the toilet handle broke he had the plumber come out right away.

Great communication with host

We arrived to find the apartment smelled heavily of gas. Tom immediately responded to my message about our concern and had someone there checking it out within an hour. He also moved us to his other property (right above this one) because of the gas smell without any issues. He was quick to communicate and remedy the problem. After we settled in, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is decorated nicely and has everything you need for your stay. It is an older home so it does creak a bit but not a big deal. It was clean but could definitely use a good deep cleaning. It is walking distance to some great restaurants in the area and quick drive to downtown area.

Great location

We had a great time in Louisville. The property was clean and safe. The driveway to the parking area was very tight, if I had brought my F350 dualie, it would not have fit. We ate at the Manhattan Project twice, it is just a short walk away. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and the grilled cheese was the best you will ever have!

Convenient location

An updated older apartment, easy to get to and close to downtown. The rooms were small, floor sloped, and you could hear upstairs renters walking and talking throughout the night.

Nice Home in a Great Location

We had an awesome week visiting with family. The house is in a perfect location and had everything we needed. This is an upscale neighborhood with many restaurants and shops in walking distance . It is a very, very, very safe area. We used buses and Lyft to get around the downtown area without a problem. The owners were very accommodating and were available if we would have needed anything. Charming wonderful place to stay in Louisville

I highly recommend this place when visiting Louisville. Plenty of free parking. Beautiful sun porch, comfy den, nice dining room, fully functional and stocked kitchen. The host provided a Kergeric coffee maker with Kcups. The bathroom is also well stocked with everything you need. You should just plan on seeing what’s available and not packing any toiletries and once you see what they have, you can walk down to Walgreens and get anything you might need to supplement. The neighborhood is so awesome. You can easily walk to many restaurants, pubs, and tourists attractions. The neighborhood is also very close drive or Uber to a ton of Louisville attractions. Here is my must do list: Braille printing library (walking) free, Escape room Lou (walking), Derby museum, Wagner’s pharmacy (restaurant), silver dollar (walking) (restaurant), Hub (restaurant) (walking) Captain’s Quarters (riverside restaurant), Bernheim Forest is a must visit: the Giant Trolls exhibit is so unique and beautiful you must take the short drive to visit.(Free) Pack a picnic and make a day of it, then swing by The Old Kentucky Home, it’s right down the road from the Forest. I just can’t recommend this charming little house enough it is perfect, very clean and well appointed with modern decor. The closeness of this charming neighborhood is an amazing bonus! I will return.

Location, location, location! We parked the car and enjoyed dining and drinking along Frankfort Ave

As described. Quirky old house with good bones. Clean. Comfy bed. Wonderful sun porch to sit in and watch the neighborhood cat stroll by. Nothing fancy, but we were comfortable and loved the location. Safe neighborhood.
