'Firstly the hotel is on a small hill and takes about a 10mins uphill walk to reach. not too bad if you don’t have heavy suitcases to trawl. 'My studio had two balconies, one overlooking the Gulf of Argostoli and the other looked over the beautiful swimming pool. The location was wonderful for me, it is basically in arural area with continuous birdsong and butterflies. The location makes it a very relaxing stay. The cleaning was excellent, Marianne kept my studio sparkling and she is the smiliest person. She also helped me to use the washing machine which was all in Greek. 'The hotel is stunning, all white with a subtle grandeur, perfectly located on the Lassi strip, conveniently positioned to bars and restaurants. The receptionist (South African not New Zealand) makes things happen, excels in her role, professional from the outset. 'The pool area was beautifully landscaped with olive trees, gorgeous flowers, plants and an abundance of rosemary. We did feel a little disappointed the pool was within the hotel rather than facing out to sea. It gave the impression the hotel could be anywhere. Visitors need to be aware of the construction work below of a new, very large hotel. Only the roofs are visible fortunately, but there is some noise if you go to the nearest small beach. 'We had a great stay. Nice, big room which is cleaned daily, large shower, airconditioning in both living and bed room. Nice pool, good location in a nice little town with some good tavernas, and good for exploring the northern part of the island. Owner is very friendly and helpful. '
