Vind je ideale hotel in Lovčica - Trubín

"I booked the (cheapest) hotel room for a layover night for a multi-day trip by car. The room was dated but the bed felt good and the bathroom was clean. However when I was about to go to sleep it turned out there were no curtains so it was impossible to block the sunlight. When I raised the issue to the staff member at the desk she contacted the manager, after which I got the answer that not all rooms have curtains but it's possible to have an upgrade to the superior room for a 20 euros surplus, as the other rooms of the same category were already in use by other customers. After explaining that some way to block out sunlight is essential in a hotel room, the room itself was fine beside the missing curtains and I feel like it's unfair to pay for an unneeded upgrade just because they made a mistake with the room, it was possible to get the upgrade for free instead. The superior room was very good with comfortable beds and a large and clean bathroom. My overall experience was very positive and I would absolutely come back to this hotel, however suggesting that "not all rooms come with curtains" instead of owning up to their mistake was quite an interesting experience."
