'The Firefly Cottage was very well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had plenty of dishes, pots/pans, glasses, eating and cooking utensils. The beds were comfortable and lots of clean towels in kitchen and bath; plenty of TP, kleenex, salt and pepper, and a few other kitchen items to use. There were 3 TV's! We did have difficulty getting the sound loud enough on the TV, couldn't figure it out. We could have called owner and I'm sure they would have helped...

'Stayed here for a weekend of UTVing. Great location in the bluffs of the Mississippi River. Unique property with a nice updated home. Very comfortable bed and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Easy drive to some good restaurants. Host was outstanding. We really enjoyed staying here! '

'This was a fun little cottage perfect for me and a friend to get away for a weekend. The property provided enough space to do activities outside, including a short trail they have around the property as well as enough space to watch movies and play games inside when we weren't out and about doing things in the area. Definitely plan to stay here again if I do more trips to the Mcgregor area. '

'The property was niclely set up and quiet while we were there. Yard and porches are great along with the fire pit lighting to enjoy a nice night. There is boat landings down the road and the fishing was great. 10 miles down the river from lock 9. We pulled alot pf fish. 😁'
