'This appears to be a newer property and overall I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The hotel felt fresh and updated, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything in the room was in good working order, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.'

'This property is a gem for sure. The suite was a good size with separate living, bathroom and bedroom areas. Very nice stay and comfortable bed! There is no on site staff, they text you the room code. That was nice too.'

'The hotel is very tired. Our bathroom had a leak around the commode. The tub looked terrible. Had an excellent breakfast and very nice and accommodating staff. We have stayed at other Elegante properties and this was the worst. For what we paid. We could not recommend this property.'

'Parking lot is lit up like a Friday night lights which is good because the parking lot had some sketchy folks. The hotel did not have drinking water because the vending machine was empty. The shower has no door or curtain so water accumulated on the floor. '

'Water pressure in sink was abysmal, parking if not valet subjects you to park at a parking garage down the street only in the 3rd or 4th floor which at night feels sketchy. Room has fridge chock full of drinks both alcoholic and non but watch the price lol…lastly a small trash can by the toilet is all the room offers for waste so be mindful of to go food oh, and no microwave in the room. '

'We stayed here for the Texas Tech graduation and it was perfect! Close to the University and lots of good eateries. It was really clean, had a great breakfast and a really helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!'

'Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Location is great for Texas Tech visits as well as easy access for traveling around Lubbock. Property is a bit dated but our towels were fluffy fresh. We stayed at the Overton during spring graduation so room pricing was quite inflated. Would stay there again if visiting Lubbock. '

'It was a mixed bag. The hotel has a dark, small, unappealing entrance and foyer, and after checking in, you have to walk by the closed pool (which was half empty with murky black-green water), in order to get to the rooms. It gave us an uncomfortable feeling. The first room we were given had a disgusting tub/shower with about a 10-inch area of rust around the drain and black, moldy caulk and grout. 'The shower curtains had spots of black mold on them. The duvets had stains on them as if they didn’t even wash them. The wash rags looked dirty hotels use white so they can bleach these things but this hotel apparently does not. There is an older short lady with glasses that is very rude but the other staff members were very pleasant. The breakfast was not cooked thoroughly. 'The breakfast had the usual offerings. The room was clean with LV flooring. Much more sanitary than carpeting. The AC kept us cool. The hallway was quiet. They accept pets which is a big plus for us. We always stay at this hotel when coming to Lubbock.'
