'After exploring up the east coast for a bit I was looking for a peaceful spot to rest for a couple of days. The Eastern Beacon Inn in Lubec provided just what I was looking for. A clean, quiet, unhurried environment to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!'

'Mid June was lush, everything was green and many flowers in bloom, just lovely. Lots of hiking, birding, some kayaking and Campobello. Had some fog but headed inland a couple days and found clear skies. The cottage is inviting & clean and the studio is inspiring - my husband paints in there. A nice surprise to find the wonderful veggies and greens from Far Out Farms in the fridge. Had a great time and already booked for next year. '

'Jamie and Damon provided everything to make this stay enjoyable. They even provided firewood for the outdoor pit and ingredients for smores!!! What a beautiful, tranquil spot, close to walking trails and the beach. Would highly recommend for your vacation!'

'We liked having the two separate buildings, the two large beds were really comfortable and clean. My dad mentioned the pull out couch smelled a little like dog. Bathroom was a little small but we were able to make do. The hot water was almost instant and got really hot, which was nice and relaxing. We didn't have any dogs with us for this stay, but I appreciate the fenced in yard. The only major complaint we had was the door lock system. The main building unlocked easily enough, but to lock it...

'The house was amazing! Lots of Victorian decor. Centrally located in Lubec to all the tourist attractions we were interested in seeing. Geno was a great host. When we had a problem with lighting the outside firepit, he came over in no time. A plus experience. We enjoyed the pool and pool table the last day of our stay.'
