Our beautiful and lovingly maintained "Maison La vie est belle" is not just a unique vacation home with a private pool and mediterranean garden. Here you are on holiday in the home of friends. Built in 1825 as the village doctor's house and pharmacy, this Maison de Maître has always been a place of well-being and welcomed its clients with authentic charm, warmth and tranquility. It is only a few steps away from the Gault & Millau rated restaurant "Laluciole" or Château Luc, home of the Fabre family.

This well-maintained country house, furnished and decorated with great attention to detail, offers everything you expect from a high-quality holiday home on 3 floors. The house has 4 equally sized bedrooms, a large dining and living room as well as a separate kitchen with all amenities. All rooms are extremely spacious, and the house is fully equipped so that everyone can enjoy their stay in peace. Although located in the village center, the house with its hidden garden, the large saltwater pool and the view of the old trees of the castle park is a place of peace and discretion. Various terraces and lounging areas offer retreats in the shade or in the sun. Everything here is designed to ensure relaxation and well-being for an unforgettable holiday.

We take sustainability particularly to heart. We have our own solar system and of course a charging station for your electric car in our garage.

The surrounding gives you every opportunity to explore the Occitaine region as you like. Start your journey in Narbonne (20 km), the second largest city after Rome in Roman times, with its historic city center, market halls, unfinished cathedral and the recently opened, very interesting archaeological museum "Narbovia" (architect: Norman Foster). The wide sandy beaches of Gruissan and Narbonne-Plage are just 7 kilometers from Narbonne, behind the La Clape hills. Don't miss the breathtaking visit to the Cathar castles or the abbey of Fontfroide (12km) and Lagrasse (18km), which will leave you with unforgettable memories. Equally magical is the Canal du Midi (8 km) - a World Heritage Site, perfect for wonderful walks, boat and bike tours. Carcassonne (40 km) and its majestic medieval castle are an unmissable excursion for young and old, especially during the Medieval Games in July/August. The African reserve of Sigean (35 km) is also suitable for the whole family. Hiking on the Alaric (12km), you can enjoy an incredible 360-degree view from the Montagne Noire, the Mediterranean over the Haute Corbieres to the Pyrenees. Interested?
