Be-at-Ease Cabin is een mooie 90 minuten rijden van Minneapolis / St. Paul en is gelegen in het noorden bossen van Wisconsin, direct aan de oostelijke oever van Bone Lake op slechts 30 stappen van het strand. De legende gaat dat Al Capone, John Dillinger en andere gangsters het gebied bezochten toen ze "er even vanaf wilden".

We noemen onze hut 'Be-at-Ease' omdat het is gemaakt voor eenvoudig wonen - een bebost, vlak terrein op het niveau van het meer, op 30 stappen van het water, een knoestig grenen interieur en een inrichting in noordelijke bossen die het buitenleven naar binnen brengen, 4 comfortabele slaapkamers en slaapbank bieden slaapruimte voor maximaal 10 personen, ruime familiekamer met entertainmentcentrum, speelkamer, 2½ badkamers, volledig uitgeruste keuken, wasmachine / droger - en ahhhh het meer ...

Op 1781 hectare is Bone Lake zowel mooi als een première recreatiemeer met 12½ mijl van de kustlijn, twee eilanden en een zandbank die als verzamelplaats dient.

Be-at-Ease biedt uitzicht op Bone Lake vanuit bijna elke kamer, met spectaculaire zonsondergangen naar het westen gericht. De vlakke veel biedt gemakkelijke toegang tot het meer, met een ondiepe, zanderige entree voor kinderen die willen spelen op de rand van water. En voor de vissers - Bone Lake staat bekend als een uitstekende Wisconsin-visserij voor muskie, largemouth bass, crappie, baars, noordelijke snoek en bluegill.

Een dok is en wacht op uw boot - of een ponton is beschikbaar voor een extra vergoeding die het mogelijk maakt de vrijheid om de meer ervaren zoals het bedoeld is.

Be-at-Ease ligt vlak bij Wilkins Bar voor een informeel diner, met de steden Luck, Balsam Lake, Turtle Lake, Frederic, Cumberland, Amery en St. Croix Falls in de buurt voor extra eetgelegenheden.

Great Wisconsin lake house

Our family of five stayed at Be-at-ease for a week in August 2024 and had great relaxing time. All of the beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. We had unseasonably cool weather so we didn’t use the a/c but it seemed like the house was very well set up for warm weather. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the things you’d need to cook any meal. The game room provided a great place for the kids to entertain themselves when not out on the water. The lake is spectacular and was surprisingly quiet for the amount of homes and boats on the water. The cabin is exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing get-away and hope to return in coming years! Thank you!

A perfect spot to take your older parents!

I booked this cabin stay to take my family and older in-laws. There are no stairs in the home and the lake is very accessible for those who need mostly zero entry access. The home was well stocked with all the essentials (bring your own beach towels). The lake was quiet during the week and the pontoon ran seamlessly. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Loved our stay at the Be at Ease Cabin

This is a charming, beautifully well-kept lovely home on the lake. It had just the right amount of amenities, and we mostly loved the boat! It is a gorgeous pontoon, and we were on it every day! The home is comfortable and spacious, and all on one level… So no climbing steps for this 60+ year old group of women!😊 The beds and all of the furniture was comfortable and casual enough to kick back, relax and enjoy! We will definitely be back! Thank you for your hospitality!

Truly at ease

We enjoyed the hospitality and responsiveness of our host. The cabin is nestled in the woods but a few steps away from the dock. Bone Lake is clear and clean with terrific fishing, which we enjoyed for dinner.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and only steps from the lake. The home accommodated our family of 7 and was very accessible for my 87 year old mother. We greatly enjoyed the game room and the outdoor games along with the lake. The pontoon was a nice option to rent and we took pontoon rides daily. It is a wonderful home and we would stay again! Nice place, confusing/frustrating process

The place was beautiful and was perfect for our needs. However, the process to rent the place was frustrating. There was an expensive out of pocket (on top of the rental charge) deposit just to be approved to rent your stay which was unlike anything I’ve experienced. Also, when I asked the owner well in advance if we could check in early I was immediately denied with no explanation. After asking why, the owners stated there was a group leaving the day we were arriving. Which would be understandable considering cleaning would need to be done. I arrived to the lake at 8:00am check in day and had a clear view of the property and driveway. All day up until 4:30pm (check in time) not a soul moved in or out of that place. I would of liked to check in early to drop off luggage and groceries instead of taking it all on the ice with me.

Great stay at a great place.

4 beautiful bedrooms, 3 full baths, big living space and kitchen, pontoon boat on a pristine lake that’s empty most of the week. Very close to a nice resort with good food and live music on weekends. Bald Eagles and loons, and my wife saw a bear on her walk- Yikes! The best the Northwoods have to offer. Strongly recommended for any group!

Most Comfortable Cabin

We appreciated the comfort of this cabin with nice furniture and plenty of chairs for relaxation- Inside and out! The flat lawn and easy walk to the lake make it safe for elderly or those with mobility issues. The home is well stocked with towels, TP, kitchen items, 2 refrigerators, and very attractive decor. All areas in the home look new! We rented in a rainy humid spell and there was some issue with bedrooms getting hot and musty smelling when doors were shut but owners do supply the place with nice clean fans for use also. The new and huge patio doors were like bringing the lake into the Great Room! We enjoyed adding on the pontoon boat rental also. Thank you for a great stay!

Fun Family Weekend

We had a great stay at the Be-At-Ease cabin. The home was very clean, well equipped and was a great setup bedroom and bathroom-wise for our family weekend getaway. We also enjoyed renting the pontoon during our stay as well. There were more booking and house rules and requests that I have experienced with past VRBO rentals, but aside from that the rental was great and as described/pictured.

Great place for relaxation!

We are so glad we found this place. The owners were very nice people. The cabin was well kept and had lots to do. The game room is awesome and you can’t beat the view. We even finished our vacation with cabin olympics utilizing all the games, inside and out! We definitely want to come back soon.

Beautiful Lake Front Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at Be at Ease. The cabin is very clean, well stocked with all paper products, cooking supplies and bedding. The game room was a huge bonus for a break from the sun. The fire pit and patio were wonderful. The cabin was a perfect distance from the shore and the dock was very nice. We traveled with our own pontoon and the dock easily accommodated our boat. Launching the boat in advance of going to the cabin is necessary and the launch was easy to navigate. Thanks for a great week!

Wonderful Early Father’s Day Memories

Winter weather - still had fun!!

We traveled with our family of 5 and neighbor's family of four. The weather was -20 degrees so were not able to play outside with the kids but we still had plenty to do. The game room was AWESOME!! The home is in great condition, very clean, and the owners were very responsive when needed.

Excellent mini vacation

Beautiful Cabin, just steps from the water, and caught a lot of perch just to the south a bit-more in front of the Wilkens resort. Cabin was fully stocked with everything needed and nicely decorated. The notes or "rules" they would like you to follow are typed and framed-matched the decor so much that we didn't even see some of them at first. Thanks for the great stay, may be back next winter! The listed pull out sofa would not sleep two adults just an FYI, and mattress was a bit uncomfortable, that was our only issue the whole trip! Thank you for sharing your place with us.

New years getaway

The cabin on Bone Lake was excellent. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the game room playing ping pong and foosball. Very close to ice age trail where we did a winter hike which was nice...Kids brought their sleds and had fun sledding on the downhill portions of the trail. Definitely would come back and would be lovely in the summer with the lake right out the back door.
