Ontbijtruimte was veel te klein en totaal niet gezellig. Keuze bij het ontbijt was wel goed. Het aantal liften (3) voor een gebouw van 19 verdiepingen (wij sliepen op de zestiende verdieping) was totaal onvoldoende en resulteerde in constant wachten op de liften. Mensen lopen in zwemkledij in de lobby en niemand zei daar iets van... Kamer was heel goed (wij hadden een luxe suite) maar de rest van het hotel voldeed niet echt aan de norm.

Voor de prijs en de reputatie van Hilton redelijk jammer. Personeel was erg vriendelijk, maar voor een superieur kamer toch meer verwacht. Brandgaten in de stoelen. Kingsize bed erg klein.

Bedden waren gewoon harder dan een steen als je buiten zou slapen zou je nog fijner slapen, De mensen die naast je slapen in een andere kamer denken alsof het een discoplek is, Zwembad kan je geen zwembad noemen het water is koud en het zwembad is klein nog geen eens 1 bij 1, Eenigste pluspunt het parkeren was gratis voor de rest is dit het slechtste hotel waar ik ooit ben geweest, Ik wens iedereen veel sterkte die hier geboekt heeft.

Wat je verwachten kan van Doubletree by Hilton, goed en vriendelijk personeel. kamers zijn netjes maar kan beter, kasten en lades lopen wat stroef en zijn binnenkort wel aan vervanging toe. Wij nemen dit op de koop en klagen daar niet over bij personeel maar wel in de review. De matrassen waren erg hard, ik persoonlijk vind dit wel lekker maar mijn vrouw en dochter hebben hierdoor niet z'n goede nachtrust gehad en in de ochtend pijn aan de rug. Jammer dat er geen loopband in de fitness ruimte stond (wel op de foto's). Crosstrainer en de hometrainer werkte wel perfect, er waren alleen geen handdoeken in de fitness ruimte aanwezig. Heb bij het zwembad van personeel handdoek gekregen, andere 2 dagen heb ik handdoek van de kamer meegenomen. Wij hebben 2 nachten, 3 dagen een tevreden gevoel over gehouden aan dit verblijf, maar het kan altijd beter.

Toch volgende keer elders hotelovernachting
De deuren van de kamers knallen hard dicht. De lift maakt echt geluid alsof er een vliegtuig opstijgt. Dat geluid hoorden wij in onze kamer constant. Het ontbijt vonden wij middelmatig. Personeel was aardig en behulpzaam. Zondag was het zwembad al om 14.00 gesloten dat vonden we jammer. De kamer was op het oog netjes maar toch nog eten onder het bed en wat haren op het bad gat in je dekbedhoes.( ik denk dat er te weinig tijd waarschijnlijk gegeven zal worden voor deze dames algemeen bekend)

Prima hotel. Goede, schone kamers. Lekker bed. Goed ontbijt. Lekker zwembad. Gratis bus direct naar centrum stad. Top! Alleen de airco viel ons tegen. Kregen de kamertemperatuur in november met de airco niet omlaag (22 tot 23 gr.). Uiteindelijk uitgezet en met het raam open de overige nachten geslapen.

Good location, friendly staff but aged interior
The welcome was great, very friendly and helpful staff. Location is great, 20 min free bus ride to city center. But the hotel interior is quite old and not well maintained. For example, a lampshade in our room was glued with duck tape. The AC didn’t cool below 22°C. The bathroom and the room itself was clean but probably last renovated 10 yeats ago. Three lifts for 19 floors of the hotel, one most of the time out of order, means having to wait often. Breakfast expensive, not many choices and sub standard. For over €100 per night per room (we had two) plus breakfast, I would have expected a better experience.

Te warme kamers
Midden in de winter was de kamer niet kouder dan 24 graden te krijgen, vanwege het milieu? Slecht slapen in zo'n sauna. Zwembad slecht weinig open en barstte van irritante kinderen die erin sprongen ondanks springverbod, badmeester greep hier niet op in. Personeel was vriendelijk, ontbijt was niet bijzonder, maar verder wel prima. Iets te duur voor wat ze bieden.

Ik had een suite waar niet eens flesjes water op de kamer stonden. Temperatuur regelaar niet in te stellen. Dit lukte het personeel ook niet waardoor het zeer warm was. Geen ochtend slippers. Bij het aankaarten van tekorten geeft personeel meteen de spullen naar de kamer te brengen wat nooit gebeurd.
