'Ruime schone kamer, bed kraakte luid bij elke beweging. Continentaal ontbijt was voldoende, tegen toeslag goed full English breakfast dat ter plekke bereid werd. Geen diner/avondresraurant. Op loopafstand weinig activiteiten en restaurants. Receptie grotendeels gesloten, behalve bij check-in. Goede eigen parkeerplaats, ligging dichtbij snelweg die je ‘s nachts niet hoort.'

'Friendly staff, pleasant quiet location. Stayed in the Magnolia Cottage very well equipped and had everything that I could wish for comfortable, like home from home. Even made me smile when id broken the key off in the lock to round of a perfect day, new key no quibble supported with a laugh and an offer to get the fire brigade around to get me out. Would definitely stay here again. Dines in restaurant food good and good service.'

For early risers they prepare a continental breakfast the evening before so you can always get something no matter at what time you have to catch your flight. 'We were really impressed especially by the friendliness & attentiveness of the staff. Very welcoming. Room was spacious, well provisioned & comfortable. Glad there was a fan as it was a hot night. We pre-booked for an evening meal & it was excellent 10/10 for taste & cooked to perfection. Enjoyed our breakfast too & both meals were very generous portions. 'A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. 'It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.
