'Nice old building but in need of repairs and updates, room wasn’t particularly clean, old windows with condensation and not be cleaned for a while ! Good breakfast, location not bad but a killer of a hill to get back up at night, was ok as a base but if looking for a special occasion I’d look elsewhere'

'The property was as in pictures apart from the entrance, which was around the back of the property on an uneven surface and up a steep metal wet staircase. Would suggest slated blinds as the sun makes the property very hot especially at the velux window above the sink. Overall, a pleasant stay in a lovely sea side town. '

'Clean, great location and as advertised. Comfy beds, nice furniture and good shower. One free car parking space at a car park 5 min walk away, the car park is otherwise very expensive. There was a fan thank goodness'

'The Apartment, was quiet and just the right size for one or two people to stay in. The town was walkable to the town, but it was the hills coming back up. There was no onsite parking and it was pop lucky if you got a space on the road.'

'We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short tour of the Jurassic Coast. The location is spectacular and you can almost step out onto the beach. There is a lovely bay window which you can sit in and watch the world go by listening to the sound of the waves. If only this had been a nice padded seat, I might not have wanted to leave. Parking is a bit of a problem in Lyme Regis but there was no noise from the restaurants below, which I thought might be a problem'

'This beautifully quaint cottage is perfectly situated in the centre of Lyme Regis, on a historic Saxon lane. The hustle and bustle of the town cannot be heard from the cottage or the charming garden, with a rooftop and green hilly view. I would definitely recommend and come back if in the area again. It was clean, very well equipped and full of old architectural features, my sister, brother and my dog loved it. Thank you for letting us stay and feel so comfortable.'

'This property is very hard to find as the address given 8A Coombe street is incorrect. It is down a back path behind other properties. It took 40mins & several calls to Sykes cottages to find it! There is a cat (not mentioned in booking blurb) who comes via a cat flap which can be locked which we did due to a cat allergy! Overall it is a little 'tired' but the decor is nice and amenities are good, everything you need. It does need a thorough clean of lamps, pictures etc and a good clean of...

'Fantastisk leilighet med perfekt beliggenhet og vakker utsikt over sjøen. Den hadde alt vi trengte, inkludert et velutstyrt kjøkken og vaskemaskin, og alt fungerte helt fint. Leiligheten var komfortabel, stille og fredelig, selv om den lå nær alt. Selv om det ikke var mulig å kjøre bil helt frem til leiligheten, opplevde vi faktisk dette som en fordel fordi området ble roligere og mer avslappende. Vi trivdes svært godt under oppholdet og kommer gjerne tilbake.'

'Very clean comfortable stay. There was a keysafe at the property but you had to go to a different place to pick up and drop off the key which seemed odd. Parking was round the corner and down the hill.'
