Eaton's Edge biedt een rookvrij, gloednieuw benedenappartement met een buiteningang, een eigen oprit, een volledige keuken, een eigen wasruimte en een thuisbioscoop. Met 20 hectare bosrijke afzondering, kunt u uw deur uitstappen en ontspannen naast de Cascades van Harris Creek, zitten en herten en kalkoen in de tuin kijken, uilen, vleermuizen en adelaars boven uw hoofd spotten of een kampvuur in de put bouwen en luisteren naar het geluid van stromend water en kruipende goederentreinen in de verte. Dit alles en slechts drie mijl naar Walmart, Food Lion, Redbox en geweldige pizza. Onze weg is een smalle mijl van hobbels, bochten en heuvels!

20 minuten naar de concerten, sportevenementen, intensieve cursussen en theaterproducties die worden aangeboden aan de Liberty University en alle lokale hogescholen in Lynchburg. 10 minuten naar het historische Lynchburg River District met zijn geplaveide straten, antiekwinkels, festivals, concerten, wandelpaden, restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden. Academiecentrum voor de Kunsten ligt net over de brug.

Breng wat peddelspullen mee en ga naar Monacan Park voor een peddel op de James River of huur wat spullen van James River Adventures in River's Edge Park. Rijd Elon Road uit naar de beroemde Woodruffs 'Pie Shop, waar u kunt genieten van een maaltijd, taart, koffie en een goed gesprek met de lokale bevolking.

Honestly we could not have asked for a better stay! Everything was as described, the creek was so peaceful, and all the options for games were exactly what the kids were looking for. Plus we saw a mom and two baby deer ❤️ thank you again!!

Myself, along with my son and daughter-in-law, were in VA for a family wedding. The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps (important to me). There's just a short walk down to the creek. The area is wooded and incredibly quiet. Hosts provide a number of outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend.

Our stay was driven by our visit to Liberty University, and normally we would have stayed at a hotel but everything was booked, and im very glad it was. The property was peaceful and clean and we absolutely loved our stay.

The property was so spacious, clean and had literally everything you could ever need in a vacation rental. Plenty of comfy seating in the common areas and a great projection TV system for movie viewing. It unfortunately rained buckets the whole time we were staying on site, so we didn’t get to utilize all the wonderful outdoor amenities like the fire pit, tubing on the stream (literally!) in the back yard and exploring the woods. And it’s close to lots of the attractions we came to the area for including the BlueRidge Parkway and the Natural Bridge Caverns. I highly recommend this lovely home away from home.

The size is perfect, so is everything else! We fit our family of seven very comfortably. I loved not having to pack a lot so that my kids had things to play outside. There were many comforts of home in case we forgot. 😊 The kids walked in and all smiled right away, so it was immediately a good sign. It rained a little, so we went to Sea Quest at the mall and also did a little shopping. There was more of the property l, outside games, and Lynchburg we left unexplored, so we hope to return. 💌💌 It was nice to give my kids a piece of my childhood, exploring the creek and being outside was great!

The location is great being close to LU and downtown Lynchburg. The setting is so serene and the hosts were great with communication. The kitchen had every appliance we needed and we enjoyed grilling out the first evening. Would highly recommend and even though we probably won’t be back to Lynchburg, we would definitely stay there again!!

My husband and I and our 1 year old twins enjoyed our stay here. It was so homey and clean. The host had plenty of extra towels and blankets which was a plus. And I loved that they had extra fans in the closet for the white noise! The only things I would change, is a smart tv and a softer bed! We would definitely stay here again! The creek is so beautiful I wish we could have hung out down there more during our stay! Thank you again for sharing your home!

What a wonderfully relaxing place this was! Very comfortable, beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future. The Fall colors were gorgeous and the creek was delightful— we loved sitting and listening to the water rushing over the rocks. Highly recommend.

We had a short stay at the property because we were in town for a wedding. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy all of the activities and the river behind the house due to the events we had to attend. The property was much larger than I thought based on the photos. It was very comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. Jennifer was a great hostess and was always available for any questions. I highly recommend this property.

This was the best experience ever. We went here for my daughters graduation from liberty. We never dreamed we would meet such a nice couple that own the property. They knew why we were there and really went to extra mile in helping us celebrate her accomplishment. They had cup cakes with a graduation cap, and a cinnamon bun that was over the top. Thank you so much!!! The property is just amazing, walking from the house down to the fire pit is well light and easy to get to, it over looks a nice mountain river, the sound of the water over the rocks from the fire pit is amazing. Walking down to the river is so beautiful and the sound of the water is just so soothing. Once you get down to the river they have walking sticks so you don’t fall while walking the river. I will sum it up with you will be very happy that you stayed here!!!!! We didn’t want to leave

We had such a wonderful time in this cute little attached basement. We had our own entrance, outdoor area, and all the facilities we needed to make our stay peaceful and enjoyable. We were very close to the city of Lynchburg so we went there many times to enjoy what the city has to offer. We would definitely recommend! Also, the river in the backyard is absolutely gorgeous but you do have to go down some steep steps which, being a healthy family of ages 3, 5, 34, and 38, we had no problem traversing but it would be difficult for someone with mobility concerns. One of our favorite escapes yet!
