'What a gorgeous house in a beautiful area, well run by a lovely couple. We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Our room was lovely; warm, clean and spacious, a pretty and comfortable bed, soft bedding and nice pillows with a great sea view. 'Love this hotel so much. There was some confusion over the room that I thought I had booked, but that was really my fault rather than the hotel, but they went to all lengths to make sure we were happy - and we were. Staff are super friendly, not just in the hotel but the restaurant for breakfast and in the attached pub next door. Such a great stay - thank you for looking after us :) '

'No problems to report. New management so it takes time to adjust. Have stayed a few times not expensive. There’s always gonna be that one waitress you don’t respond too but there’s other waiters and waitresses and I won’t let this review spoil it for them! Would stay again '

'Unfortunately we only had a one night stay at the Lorna Doone hotel in Porlock. The Hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of the village with all nice shops nearby. Staff is uber-friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Next time I hope we can stay a bit longer.'
