'It was such a beautiful spot in the countryside. Gorgeous walks and scenery. Comfortable accommodation and Helen was an excellent host. Her cake was delicious and a lovely breakfast with homemade jam and bread is also included. A great base to visit other areas too. An easy picturesque walk to the Tavern which has good food and lovely staff. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay here.'

'Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

'Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The host is very nice and helpful. The house is like a palace and the views from the house are stunning. The house is very well equiped, I can't think of anything missing. They even have a 'kaasschaaf' (Dutch for 'cheese slicer). The house is also a good base for walks and trips to interesting sites in the proximity. We highly recommend it.'
