Dit mooie vakantiehuis met 2 slaapkamers, karaktervol en charmant, is centraal gelegen en toch rustig en perfect gelegen op loopafstand van winkels en restaurants.

Met een gastvrije houtkachel en moderne flatscreen televisie. U kunt de dubbele openslaande deuren naar het terras met uitzicht op de tuin openen tijdens de zomermaanden, of lekker liggen op de bank voor het vuur tijdens de koelere herfst- en wintermaanden.

Met zijn prachtige hondvriendelijke stranden, biedt Fisherman's Cottage een stijlvolle self-catering vakantie in Mablethorpe, rustieke interieurs met uitzicht en toegang tot het achterliggende bootmeer maken dit een prachtige cottage-ontsnapping, ongeacht de tijd van het jaar en even geschikt voor een enkel stel, familie of twee koppels die samen op vakantie willen.

In het hoogtepunt van de zomer kunt u genieten van de zonnestralen in onze tuin met uitzicht op het meer en ontspannen in de wetenschap dat u slechts een korte wandeling hebt naar een van de vele pubs en restaurants die deze levendige badplaats bevolken. Parkeer de auto en vergeet, met zoveel te doen, heb je letterlijk een van de beste stranden voor de deur.

Het strand van Mablethorpe is enorm en perfect voor hondeneigenaren die met hun beste vrienden op vakantie willen met hondvriendelijke pubs en café's die het hele jaar door beschikbaar zijn, het is ook een droom voor fotografen met kilometers gouden zandstranden en eigenzinnige strandhutten in Victoriaanse stijl.

De trap vanuit de woonkamer leidt u naar een prachtige slaapkamer met een gigantisch Victoriaanse stijl Superking bed met een cottage raam met uitzicht op het rustige meer achter. Nog een slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed is ideaal gelegen op de begane grond opnieuw in een Victoriaanse stijl tweepersoonsbed.

Aan de achterzijde heeft het huisje een zonnige binnentuin met zitplaatsen en een eigen toegangspoort tot het meer, ideaal om te genieten van het ontbijt of 's ochtends koffie in de zon terwijl u kijkt naar Mr & Mrs Duck en vrienden die hun dag doorgaan voordat u uw eigen avonturen begint het verkennen van de omgeving.

Ontdek de lokale stad Mablethorpe met winkels, cafés, restaurants, pubs en een bioscoop. De slaperige badplaatsen Sutton on Sea & Chapel St Leonards liggen allemaal op korte rijafstand, terwijl de grotere resorts Ingoldmells & Skegness voor elk wat wils bieden.

Vier lichtgewicht opvouwbare strandstoelen zijn aanwezig in het huisje voor uw gebruik, dus u kunt een wandeling van 3 minuten maken naar het strand, uw stoel openen, gaan zitten, ontspannen en genieten van het Gouden strand en een prachtig uitzicht op zee OF ze op de pluche groen gras aan de achterkant van het huisje en geniet van het Ducks & Boating-meer, de keuze is aan u.

Lovely Christmas Break

A lovely cosy cottage. Very well equipped. It is a Little tired in some areas but very comfortable. Literally 2 mins to a lovely dog friendly beach and sits on a lake with ducks and geese to feed. A very quiet area which was great for us.

Amazing cosy cottage

The fishermen cottage has everything you need. The stairs are steep but there is not to many of them & the rooms are lovely, we felt so safe & relaxed here which made it all worth while. Go out the back gate that over looks a pretty lake turn right then right again & you are on the sea front, take a left & you can walk to shops bars & cafes, Can’t wait to come come with our dog again Thanks Carl

Property is lovely and in an excellent location. The weather was very hot so the fan in the top bedroom was great as was the outdoor patio area. Everyone enjoyed their stay and perfect for the dog.

Another lovely week

We’ve stayed at Fisherman’s cottage a few times now and it remains as good as ever. Wonderfully situated, quiet, peaceful back patio and should it get cold there is a cosy wood burner. The pets love it too. Thank you and we’ll be back soon.

This cosy cottage is close to the beach. It is easy to access and in a lovely setting. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. Would return in a flash.

Seaside cottage

Lovely cosy cottage a short walk to beach and Mablethorpe. The cottage is clean and tidy and had everything we needed. One bedroom upstairs ( which were quite steep ) so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and one on the ground floor which is where the bathroom is. As there were just two of us and a dog we had no problem but for 4 adults it would be a little bit tight but probably ideal for a family with two children.The only downside was the parking. We had to unload the car and then move it . We were quite lucky to find a space on the road which was available due to it being out of season but not in use in season. Car park nearby which is payable from 8 am to 6pm . So free overnight but would have to pay from 8 am. The positive is great and we walked on the prom to Sutton on Sea one way and Mablethorpe the other. Ideal if you want the choice of a holiday with both the fun of the seaside but quieter on a night.

Lovely stay at Fisherman’s Cottage

My wife, pets and I had a wonderful week. Perfect accommodation, everything we needed was there, weather was fine apart from one day of rain… but that wasn’t a problem. Cosy place to stay.

Generally we had good short time in this fisherman’s house, the place was well cleaned and managed. The house is equipped with brand new stove wood burner. Just bring your own wood logs as is hard to buy it around there. Very close to the wide beach with long of promenade to walk or cycle.

Honest review

I'll start with the negatives so we can end on a high. On the first day of arriving the neighbour came round to tell us to ring the cleaner, rang and she said the gas man was coming to fix the boiler on the Monday so someone needed to be in the property so he could do his job. Now considering we weren't told the boiler was broken prior to arriving was frustrating and then on our holiday we had to be in for him to come and fix it 🤔. So this meant for the next 2 days there was no hot water or heating good job the sun was out and there was a kettle to boil water. On the Monday the at 9.30am when this gas man was supposed to arrive and didn't we phoned the cleaner again and she then said oh you can leave the key in the key safe he's running late again no communication to us with this information untill we chased what was going on. The boiler was fixed for that day but then was broken again the next day and didn't work the rest of our holiday. Other points to mention ... There is a nice big bath but you have to look past the rusted broken cold tap and the mould all around the silicone if you want to enjoy said bath, the paint in the bathroom is flaking and hanging off the wall and there are broken ornaments in there and a cabinet with somones toileteries in. The furniture in the living room is not as pictured there are no nice leather sofas but there are 2 small fabric sofas that have a very musty smell and are shredding on the material. The living room is also full of unnecessary ornaments 3 clocks in one room whilst enjoying your holiday is not required. The garden area needs updating there are broken fence panels behind a post awaiting removal and then whilst we were there the cleaner came with her family unannounced one day to do the gardening. I understand these things need doing but we paid for this week for the property to be ours to enjoy? The downstairs bedroom is a questionable double with the bed up the wall and radiator dangerous if it was working. There is a picture listed of Fisher men so you aren't disappointed like my farther was please note you have to travel to fish it is not near the property. On a good note the property was fairly clean and the upstairs bedroom is very large with a nice bed and dressing table. It is very close to amenities the beach Is literally a 2 min walk and it's dog friendly. There is a chipshop and put at the end of the road and a cafe on the sea front. The parking is close by and costs £5 per day.

Very nice cottage, great location especially for our dogs who loved the beach walks. Would highly recommend a stay, very clean and tidy. Just one suggestion after putting the bin out as asked on returning the bin it was rather smelly. Would recommend a bin clean in the summer months

Lovely cosy Cottage.

We've had a 4 night stay at the lovely Fisherman's Cottage, The Cottage is well equipped spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We used the downstairs bedroom which with the downstairs bathroom and the two of us being of a certain age we found very useful, the upstairs bedroom is a lovely room. It was nice to cosy up in front of the woodburner in the evening. The Cottage is well placed for the beach shops etc with the bonus of Queens Park at the rear. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Fisherman's Cottage - shall definitely be returning to this one!

This was the ideal place for a week away from the stresses of life. Situated 2mins from the sea front made for perfect early morning runs along the seafront and late evening walks with our 2 labs. We were able to bike from the house to Chapel St Leonards along the coastal road. A compact house but very comfortable, very clean with everything we needed for our stay. All in all a very relaxing week away.

The cottage was perfect for our stay and has a great location for long walks on the beach with the dog. Plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink. Could not fault it really. My only comment would be to update the parking info as this is now £5 for a full day (not £2), but you can park above the car park on the road all day for free if there are any spaces. In addition, bin collection seems to be at 6.30am not 7.30am, but this just needs updating. Overall a great weeks holiday. Thank you

A delightful historical cottage in a peaceful location with a welcoming homely atmosphere,

Everything we required was thoughtfully provided. Beautifully clean and ideal for the dog, too. We would return again, particularly out of season to explore further the beautiful coastline south of Mablethorpe. The weather turned very wet and cold but we were unable to access the central heating controls although the water was consistently hot. We have no experience of Log Burners. The Housekeeper contact number was out of date in the instructions so we felt vulnerable had something more serious occurred and only an automatic response to an email request.
