'This property is old but provided updated amenities. Walls are not very well insulated so noise was an issue. The location was across the street from a park and within sight of the Mackinaw Bridge.'

'Stayed 3 nights. June 27-29, "2026. Loved the easy access to Ferry crossing [5 min.] and other Mackinaw City attractions all within walking distance. Helpful suggestions from friendly desk clerk were 'spot on' helpful. Facility clean, comfortable room and beds. Hot tub and pool also nice. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.'

Also some gouging along one wall was a little unsightly and in need of repair and the curtains although functional were stained in places. A very nice view of the Mackinaw Bridge and the beach area was nice for sitting and enjoying the view, but no access to actually swim. The pool, free breakfast, and general grounds were all nicely maintained.'

I attempted to cancel my reservation only to be offered a 50% refund per the hotel policy. I decided to try this hotel the first room that they put me in did not have a fitted sheet on the mattress. 'The property looks very clean on the outside in pictures but the exterior walls have not been cleaned in a very long time. The lobby to check in was very clean. The room was very clean as well. Very well stocked with towels, washcloths, and hand towels. It was very aggravating to get the luggage to the room with the cart as you have to go to the other end of the building for the elevator and go through 2 hallways and doors and maneuver thru very narrow hallways. 'Staff were friendly. The location was great. The water park was fantastic, although looking a little run down. The room was a bit dusty and dirty in corners. The exercise room (3 pieces of equipment total, no weights) was non-functional, with one extremely loud treadmill, a bike that didn’t work and a bike with no seat.'

'It was a beautiful, huge room with big fluffy towels and the jacuzzi was very nice. The jacuzzi had some rust in the lines, so when I ran the jets, it made some yucky orange bubbles, but I just wiped the sides, emptied it, and refilled it. That was all it needed. I highly recommend! I didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice too.'
