Het hotel heeft een mooie ligging, is groot en biedt veel faciliteiten. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten was van hoge kwaliteit.

Gewoon goed!
Het is een goed hotel. Alle faciliteiten werken, de ligstoelen en parasols zijn genoeg aanwezig, het personeel werkt hard en is erg vriendelijk en het aanbod van eten is meer dan voldoende en afwisselend. Vanuit het hotel kun je de binnenstad van Funchal redelijk makkelijk te voet bereiken (er zijn wel hoogteverschillen).

Beautiful hotel in great location
We had never been to an "all inclusive hotel" before so were very uncertain about what to expect. I must say, it was great being able to order drinks and not have to keep getting your purse out! The red wine was nice and the bubbles were great (even at breakfast time in a bucks fizz) and they served high quality spirits and liqueurs. The beer was also good and they mixed a fabulous cocktail. I am not a fan of buffets and of course "all inclusive" is buffet style. The food on the buffet was very good and every day and for every meal there was "show cooking" where you could have your meat or fish cooked specially for you. They made superb omelets in the mornings - indeed the breakfasts were fantastic. There were also 3 themed restaurants, which were OK for a change - and you were served at your table so it was a nice change from buffet-style - but the food in the buffet was better. We booked our tables in the themed restaurants straight after checking in and had no problem getting tables. Our room was lovely: spacious, clean, nice balcony overlooking the pool, good bathroom and comfy beds with a sitting area. The spa was fab and not at all expensive. Good gym and lovely pools. Plenty of space around the pool and 2 good pool bars with lots of food. Every evening there was entertainment in the bar that was good fun.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Service ist top und die Küche ist hervorragend! Wir hatten All inklusive gebucht und wurden den ganzen Tag mit einer hervorragenden Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken versorgt. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und gut zum Schwimmen geeignet. Die Lage des Hotels an der Strandpromenade ist perfekt.

Die Terassentür war verbogen und konnte nicht richtig verschlossen werden. Das Essen war sehr eintönig. Unverschämt dand ich dass immer nur ein Themenrestaurant auf hatte und dann 2 oder 3 Tage in dem in Folge das selbe Menue serviert wurde. Damit war man auf das mittelmässige Buffet angewiesen

Mucha decepción..las instalaciones son de un 4 estrellas pero el trato deja mucho que desear, entrabamos en el comedor y la gente estaba medio desnuda y nadie le decia nada. Los camareros y camareras muy desagradables. El secador de la habitación era hipermini, l@s de la limpieza entraban en la habitacion y te echaban para limpiar sin importar la hora o lo que estuvieses haciendo, tenemos clarisimo que no volveremos, hemos estado en hoteles de 3 estrellas muchisimo mejor. Por otro lado la comida era malisima, nada variada y nos ponian las sobras del mediodía a la noche. Un despercicio de dinero, pagas por ir a un hotel bueno y te encuentras con una gran decepción...

All personnel were very friendly and accommodating. Dinis at the Piano Bar was extremely helpful, friendly and a great bartender. Our favorite part was the falcon handler who kept the pigeons away from the outside eating area. Property is updated and beautiful! This was our first trip to Madeira, but definitely not the last!

Great hotel, with excellent service. We felt great in the hotel. Nice pools, good food, service. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room which was right above the restaurant on the 2nd level [not very comfortable]. We asked to change and got a room on the 6th floor with an ocean view and a large terrace. We recommend the hotel for a holiday stay.

Séjour sympa à Madère
Nous avons passé un bon sejour, la nourriture était bonne et variée, toutes les sorties ont été réservées depuis l'hotel et avec l'assistance de personnes à l'accueil. L'animation était sympa également. Petit bémol : le nettoyage de la chambre était bâclé et le bruit dans les chambre du 4ème malgré le double vitrage. Hôtel que nous recommandons.
