VERY DIRTY Room - poor cleaning procedures!!!! No towel bars!!!! No TV remote - brought one after I asked. No reduction for cash as website promised. No breakfast as website promised.

The Staff was nice and hospitable, and some attempted at modern decor was appreciated. But the workmanship of the finishes was bad. Holes in walls around pipes. Water spots and corrosion on plumbing. Water closet leaked. The refrigerator was....well needs a defrost and cleaning. Floors seemed clean but felt a bit gross.

The room we were given has cigarette burns all over the comforters on both beds. The walls were very dirty as well as the furniture, & refrigerator. I found someone elses pills on a computer chair & when we asked for extra towels because we were only given 1 towel set for 3 people, they told us they had none they were all dirty. Super gross.

The room was clean and updated. The exterior of the hotel needs updating and there was not breakfast as stated on hotels.com. I would recommend it thou for a cheap place to stay.

This property was old, poorly maintained, and just overall an experience that was over priced for what I paid. The entire region is over priced, so I can't fault them for being one of the lowest in the region. But I would put the property under immense renovations and they need to put a lot into improving the property. Unless they update it, this will always be a poor experience.

The property outside looks dated and run down, BUT once in our room it had be upgrade with new floors and shower surrounded. The double beds were cleans as well as the floors, toilet & shower, the television is mounted and a lot of available channels with free Wi Fi, the room temperature was set at an inviting temperature not to hot not to cold and the mini fridge & microwave were also a nice addition. I did not enjoy the tall slender male host. He seemed very uptight and not friendly at all. but once his wife took over my reservation things were processed a lot fast, easier and she was very professional. Also, I didn't like the fact that no breakfast is offered or coffee and no Keurig is available in rooms either.

Horrible experience
First of all this is the worst experience I've ever had at hotels.com the hotel night in Madison Heights in Virginia was the worst experience I've ever had the hotel front desk woman was so rude I called up a day before to cancel my reservation and they were so rude saying they couldn't do it because I was a couple minutes late on canceling the service I wasted $109 I'll never use your service again I was told by your website that I would be able to pay for the reservation when I get to the hotel but I was charged today before it before you even got there Horrible experience at the night in Madison Heights Virginia you should take that hotel off your website

impressed for the price
For the price, I was impressed. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from those at the desk to the housekeeping staff. I felt safe when outside the room, and although there wasn't much within walking distance of the hotel, there was a Walmart about 10 minutes up the road and several restaurants within about 15-20 minutes.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are small and smelly. There is no food offered. There are no activities in walking distance. There was a septic issue all of the day I was there and so I couldn't flush, wash my hands, or take a shower until Saturday morning. Oh, and when I did go to take a shower, the water initially came out brown and I had to let it run itself out, and there was no shampoo or a hair dryer. The only good thing was the heat was working over time.

Don't judge a book by it's cover
I stayed a weekend with my 2 kids. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice. Tge only issue I ran into was the bathroom constantly smelled of cigarettes becaue although i was staying in a non smoking room the smoking rokms were on the back side of the building. It wont stop me from staying agaun and i plan to soon.

I liked the night auditor when I complained about the room being dirty and the bed linen looked like it wasn’t changed, he tried to switch me around to different room and they replaced the fridge in my room cause my fridge wasn’t working.

Unsafe, rundown, and a total disaster. Avoid this.
This hotel was unsafe and shady as could be. The parking lot and exterior was extremely rundown, there were broken down vehicles in the parking lot, and the entire property was dilapidated and not maintained. The front office was fully enclosed in plexiglass and the double doorway breezeway was locked and blocked to the public so you could only enter the breezeway. When we arrived there was a gentleman who appeared to be a homeless drug addict loitering in the doorway being ignored by the only person working who didn't make eye contact with anyone. While I waited I was approached by someone in a vehicle that was continually leaving and coming back, seemingly casing out the parking lot. We never checked in, deciding it was completely unsafe. We opted to drive all night back home rather than stay in this hotel that was already paid for. I still standby that that was the only safe decision. This hotel is where you would go to be robbed, assaulted, or worse. Avoid this hotel.
