Fishing is another favorite pastime, and you never know what might be waiting at the end of your line. In the summer of 2026, one of our 12-year-old guests caught an impressive 9-pound bass right from the dock—just one example of the memories that can be made here.

Cherry Lake is special to our family because we've experienced it ourselves through different seasons of life.

We are from a small town in South Georgia, and when our own children were younger, we loved Cherry Lake for the adventure. Summer days were filled with watersports, time on the water, exploring, and creating the kind of childhood memories that stay with a family.

As our children have grown, we've come to appreciate another side of lake life just as much—the slower pace, peaceful mornings, long meals, relaxing evenings, and time spent gathered with family and friends.

That's what inspired us to open this home to guests.

We've created spaces throughout the property where people can be together without sacrificing the incredible lake views. From the screened porch and four-seasons room to the dining room, expansive decks, outdoor fireplace, and multi-level dock, there is always another place to gather, relax, or enjoy the scenery.
