Geweldige locatie in het hart van Maggie Valley nabij het beursterrein. De gewelfde plafonds en aangepaste afwerkingen in deze volledig ingerichte hut zijn onberispelijk. Super comfortabele hut met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers met hardhouten vloeren van hickory, een open haard en een geweldig trappenhuis in berg Laurel.

Gelegen in het prachtige Dogwood Trails, een kleine bergbuurt met gated ingang, een ruisende beek en een paviljoen met vuurplaats voor uw gebruik. Er is een kleine bergbeek in de achtertuin.
Slechts 5 minuten rijden van de berg op alle verharde wegen naar het centrum van Maggie Valley voor winkelen en dineren in de buurt. Slechts 10 minuten rijden naar de Blue Ridge Parkway en 30 minuten rijden naar de ingang van Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Onze familie tot de uwe, prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en het landschap, geweldige cabine-ervaring met alle comfort van thuis, dit zal uw thuis weg van huis worden voor geweldige vakanties keer op keer.
Snelle 200 MB WIFI, 2 kabel-tv's met HBO. Centrale verwarming en AC, goed gevulde keuken, voor- en achterporch om te genieten van het berglandschap en de koele bergbriesjes. De hut is schoon en mooi, zeer comfortabel, en je zult de instelling en de locatie geweldig vinden.

  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

We came to Maggie Valley to visit family and this beautiful cabin worked perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean, comfortable, and cozy and it was less than 10 minutes from where my husbands uncle lives, whom we came to visit. We enjoyed the hot tub, and relaxing in the cozy living room watching tv. WiFi was fast and the Roku tv with YouTube TV access was very nice! Communication with Jane, the host, was easy and she was very informative and responsive. We didn’t have any issues, she just called us to let us know some painting had been done and wanted to be sure we got checked in okay. A few things to note are this is a gated community of cabins/cottages, which is nice! However, there isn’t trash disposal or trash cans in the community, which is explained in the listing details. You have to take your trash to a waste management facility, but it’s only 10 minutes away and just a very minor inconvenience. We knew that up front because it is plainly stated, and probably a necessity to keep bears and wildlife at bay, I’m sure. Also, we had to wash, dry and put away all dishes. Most places we have rented in the past only require you to load the dishwasher and start it, but again, just a minor inconvenience. It was a wonderful stay! It is worth the little extra work because the Cozy Bear cabin is just so cute and one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed it!

Close Yet Peaceful

This cabin is clearly older (no GFCI's in kitchen or bathrooms) but the neighborhood is small and very private. You are just a couple minutes from the middle of Maggie Valley, 45 minutes to Cherokee or Asheville, 15 minutes from downtown Waynesville, which is very nice. You can jump on the GSMNP road in Cherokee to head towards Gatlinburg or Cades Cove. Everything worked as advertised, and Jane, the owner, was always available and extremely helpful. The wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Answer to Prayer

My wife and I had rented a house in Sylva for the week. Without warning the heat stopped working and it was going to take days to fix. We contacted Jane Rolen (property owner) and she very graciously allowed us to stay in her rental in Maggie Valley for the week. It is a beautiful home in a great location. Our stay overall was good. The cleaning crew didn’t get done a minute too soon. As we were checking in, they were leaving. The cabin is cute and cozy. The hot tub was the best part. We loved the fire pit although there were only 3 chairs (4 were pictured), and they sank into the ground when you sat in them. We didn’t like having to fool with taking trash off property the day we were heading home (yes we knew about this ahead of time, but it’s just silly that the cleaning crew can’t do this because you know they will have trash from cleaning!), and having to empty the dishwasher before we left meant we had to have everything clean prior to leaving which isn’t much fun when you’re packing and trying to get out by checkout time not to mention makes cooking breakfast the morning you leave not possible without having to wash all the dishes. That’s what the cleaning crew is for in my opinion. We did get to see elk the morning we left which was a nice surprise. Dog kennel nearby is a bit noisy at times, but that didn’t bother us too much. Loved having the backyard area for kids to run around and play in. Again, overall we enjoyed our stay other than the dishes and trash upon leaving.
