I can’t say enough about this cabin. We were there to celebrate our 53rd anniversary and the cabin was perfect. We had absolutely everything we needed……cleaning supplies, paper towels, linens, dishes, toilet paper, plenty of hot water and even cooking spices…..who does that!!!??? The views were amazing and did I mention it was one of the cleanest cabins we have ever stayed in and after 53 years of marriage that’s a lot!!!

Eagles Nest in Autumn
This cabin was truly perfect for me, my daughter and her dog. We were able to find everything we needed to use and the cabin was very comfortable as the temperatures dropped to 20° for the first time this year. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

The house was extremely musty and humid!! Our clothes were damp in the closet and it affected my vitamins. Driveway was terribly steep with a very sharp, blind corner at the bottom or top depending on which way we were going. Ran out of toilet paper the 2nd day, had to go buy some. The house needs a dehumidifier!!

Very fully stocked kitchen...any appliance you could need....Fantastic porch on this cottage, it was our favorite feature! Has a ramp to the house from the driveway for accessibility which was great for our balance impaired son!

Absolutely lovely vistas!
Very nice property and good location. The inside is arranged for a family and works well. This unit needs a good deep cleaning. The kitchen oven, toaster oven and toaster were so dirty we would not use them. All the furniture and throws were full of dog hair, and I could not stop itching.

This property is absolutely beautiful!! Not very difficult to get to (paved road). The porch is amazing!! Has beautiful Mountain View’s! Great yard, fire pit, picnic area.

Overall I was impressed with the cabin. The views are breathtaking. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities that it promised. The only drawback was the driveway getting to the cabin.

Great Time in Maggie
We really enjoyed this place. The owner did a great job with the details. It is an older home which is fine but it does have an odor you smell each time you enter the home. The porch is wonderful. There is a park type grill in the back and the owners provide the charcoal and all the needed equipment. This is a great place that is well-stocked with everything needed for a few days in the mountains.

Relaxing great stay.
This is a wonderfully set up cabin/house in a quiet location with decent views of the valley. Property has almost everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time away from home. Everything provided to cook, BBQ, have a fire outside, rock on the porch, and relax inside. Bring your own food and personal items, otherwise your sort of set to go.

This cabin was perfect for us. The scenery was exquisite. Landscaping was beautiful. The deck alone was worth the rental with great deck furniture. Everything was well stocked and labeled. We definitely will stay there again.

Lovely home. Worked well for (seniors) couple and friend so we could each have our own space and ba.
This is a beautiful, peaceful property and ideal for a short get away. The only thing we wished we’d been warned about was the steep drive up, especially the house driveway. The walk up ramp was a bit steep for handicapped people but it’s hard to see how it could be gentler - fortunately my husband could manage the up and down as I don’t think I could have got a wheelchair up or down. The house was probably the best equipped of many that we have rented and we were especially glad of the emergency lights after an experience a few years ago - strange house and zero lights when we had a major power outage for hours. There could be some more detailed instructions for both the TV and the heating and A/C.

Amazing views
This little cabin has amazing views out almost every window. It was cozy when we wanted to just stay in, with plenty to do just on the property. All we had to get was groceries. Glad we had an AWD vehicle otherwise the steep driveway may have been an issue with all the fallen leaves

Nice cabin!
Perfect for our little family of 3. Our seven year old loved reading on the porch and making s’mores at the fire pit. The cabin is small but well-appointed. We wanted to remain secluded so we brought groceries and were able to cook nice meals and e joy our time. We really appreciated being able to bring our older dog. He’s getting too old to board (gets too stiff being left in a crate all day). This one fact determines which rentals we choose. I wouldn’t recommend the cabin for groups with more than one vehicle. Parking at the top of the drive was best handled with a 3 point turn to go back down without having to back up. Not sure it would be possible with two cars there. Little nerve-wracking as all mountain driveways to cabins with good views seem to be. Recommendations: Personalized directions from the cabin to recommended places, coffee shops, or hikes would be nice. We set off to a hike mentioned in the brochures at the cabin and it was an hour’s drive. I’m sure there are lovely spots nearby- we just didn’t know where. Also, I think it’s time for a carpet shampoo. The cabin was clean but my son put on clean white socks and after a few minutes on the carpet, it made me tell him he couldn’t sit or lie on it. I’d take that over not allowing dogs though (if that’s the cause). A lockbox or code rather than the key pick up and drop off method should be considered soon. Great value and comfortable. Loved the porch and the outside area. A nice quiet weekend- just what we wanted. Thank you!

Get away from the heat
We love the cool mountain air. It’s much better than our August Florida heat. We enjoyed golfing and the local restaurants and relaxing on the porch. It was so peaceful.

The cabin is a “cabin” so keeping that in mind but the porch, the big feature-hadn’t had a good scrubbing in years. The porch furniture was a mish mash of pieces. None inviting. There were cobwebs everywhere too. The carpet was stained, the queen bed was the worst I ever slept on as were the sheets. But, the view was wonderful so I found a chair and a corner and thats where I stayed the entire time.

Fall Vacation
We had a fantastic fall vacation at this cabin. It got cold a bit early this year, but the fireplace and heat were more than enough to keep us Floridian's warm. This cabin holds heat very well compared to others I've stayed in. The driveway is very steep, and a little awkward to turn around in, but doable. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for letting us rent here!
