VREUGDEVAKKEN COTTAGES # 12 - Bevederde vrienden

Dit huisje met één slaapkamer is een speciale traktatie voor stelletjes. Dit huisje heeft een jacuzzi voor twee personen en is compleet met een complete keuken, een eethoek voor twee personen en een gezellige woonkamer waar u lekker kunt liggen voor de open haard. Perfect voor huwelijksreizen, jubilea, of die rustige vakantie je hebt beloofd.

Geniet van de rustige landelijke omgeving van onze huisjes. We hebben cottages met één, twee en vier slaapkamers, allemaal uitgerust met open haarden, kabel-tv, internet en keukens die klaar staan om een zelfgemaakte maaltijd te bereiden. Buiten hebben de veranda's schommelstoelen, zodat u kunt genieten van uw koffie in de ochtend of 's avonds kunt genieten van de zonsondergang op de bergen. Ons glazen binnenzwembad (seizoensgebonden) biedt een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen.

Mountain Joy Cottages zijn centraal gelegen in het hart van Maggie Valley, op slechts een straat verwijderd van Setzer Cove Road, met gemakkelijke toegang tot alle bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. We zijn slechts enkele minuten verwijderd van de Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway en het Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Het gebied is vol met ambachtelijke, antieke en souvenirwinkels. In de vrije natuur kunt u paardrijden, golfen op bergcursussen in de omgeving, vissen op forel in beekjes, wildwaterraften en mooie tochten maken. Sneeuw skiën en slangen is beschikbaar voor het hele gezin in het skigebied Cataloochee. Het nachtleven omvat alles van Jazz tot Bluegrass, verstopping of entertainment voor het diner. Onze huisjes zijn slechts een korte rit naar de Great Smoky Mountain Railway, de Biltmore Estate in Asheville, Cherokee Indian Reservation en Harrah's Casino en het historische centrum van Waynesville.

Ongeacht het seizoen hebben Mountain Joy Cottages en Great Smokies iets heel speciaals te bieden. Vanuit de wilde bloemen van de lente, de kleurenpracht in de herfst of de rust van de winter, kom bezoeken en maak blijvende herinneringen in Mountain Joy Cottages.

It is a great location for a nice little getaway,calm and cozy, laid back setting. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back to stay again.

This property had old broken blinds up and the decor is very outdated. There was no room for you to turn around your vehicle. You could pull in but could not turn around to get off the property, without backing up at least 3 times and I was in a small suv.

Reviewer Comments: We love the cabin that we stay in but not to my surprise it was not clean, we stay there in Dec. 2019, not clean then, this time is was still dirty as it was before. The kitchen was clean, but floor were dirty, I brought my mop from home and moped the floor, toilet was dirty, I cleaned with my cleaners, the return on the air unit was had lint on the outside, the filter looked like it had not been changed in years. I went to Ingles and bought another one and replaced the old one. A sock was laying beside the bed from the prior renter, that tells me the floor was not swept. I did bring my own towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, because when I made the reservations I ask about how clean is the cabin cleaned, I was told, it was by the CDC guide lines. Not so, my husband's immune system is not very stable, that was the reason for my questions. Immune system being not so good or not, that is no reason for the cabins to be nasty. We wanted to stay at Christmas, but I am not spending all that money, and have to be house cleaning. By the way we did not stay six nights as planned, we only stayed 5 nights, and did not ask for a refund.I will try to find another place to stay using Vrbo

The room was spacious and clean and the jacuzzi and fireplace really knocked it out of the park. The WiFi is weak if you’re trying to work, but I used my mobile data to boost when needed, and was thankful in the end to make the trip a little less work and more play.
