Verblijf van vrijdag tot maandag, was mogelijk om vroeg in te checken. In het weekend is de kamer niet schoongemaakt en ook geen schone handdoeken. Appartement is heel ruim, netjes en compleet. Prachtig uitzicht over de zee vanaf het balkon. Peter, de eigenaar is een heel hartelijke man, neemt de tijd om met zijn gasten om een praatje te maken.

Wir waren 5 Nächte bei Peter und wir würden jederzeit wieder hier herkommen. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und war sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Blick aufs Meer ist atemberaubend und man sollte auf jeden Fall früh genug aufstehen und sich den Sonnenuntergang gönnen. Nicht zu übertreffen ist außerdem die Lage der Wohnung. Man ist super schnell am Flughafen und in Victoria, aber gleichzeitig ist man auch sehr schnell an den schönsten Stränden auf der Westseite. Eine bessere Lage gibt es nicht, um Mahé zu erkunden. Würden jederzeit wieder genau hier her kommen. PS: Da in andere Rezensionen der Hügel erwähnt wurde, auf dem sich die Wohnung befindet. Wer damit wirklich Probleme hat, sollte keinen Mietwagen auf Mahé führen. Die Straße zur Wohnung ist normal und überall auf Mahé sind ähnliche Straßen auffindbar, die ähnlich eng und steil sind. Wen sowas überfordert, der sollte lieber mit dem Bus fahren.

It was our first time in Seychelles and the experience was definitely unforgettable and amazing ! The condo was clean, quiet and very comfortable with everything equipped. Location was perfect for us. Close to the beach, dinning and bus stop where we were able to get a bus to any location. Very safe. People were very warm and welcoming and property owners very sweet. We want to thank them for every given day to us and for making us feel home while being on vacation. Very clean too. We have our condo cleaned daily and had new sheets. We will be back and for sure at the same spot.

The apartment was very nice. Very large. No view from downstairs apartment. Basic dishes. Sugar, milk and tea provided. Full kitchen. Large bathroom. Iron and ironing board. TV channels in a lot of languages. Sufficient secure parking. Residential neighborhood in the hills. Our problems: It was not communicated to us that we had to arrange an exact time to be at the property to meet the owner for formalities. You have to keep in touch by phone (WhatsApp). You cannot get into the parking area unless someone opens it from the inside. You need a gate opener once you are checked in. The access is extremely steep. Our little manual rental car almost didn’t make it up and in. The living room air conditioner leaked and we had a lot of water on the floor. Since we only stayed for two nights and knew that the owner was busy, we didn’t get it fixed. It gets hot there! You have to keep the curtains closed. We had to leave very early and couldn’t reach the owner. Then you have to have someone keep the gate open and take the keys back to the room and come back to get out. There is no separate door. If you can figure out the logistics, it’s a nice place!

The property had spectacular views of the ocean from the balcony. The apratment was well maintained and cleaned regularly. The only downside was that I did not have a car and the hill to the property was quite steep but managable. Transport and the beach was within walking distance.

We visited Seychelles from Canada. Loved property at first sight. Indra and Peter the owners were exceptionally accommodating and informative about sights to see and where to shop in Mahe Seychelles. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Everything was excellent from the start to the end of our stay. Peter was an amazing host! Super friendly and helpful in every way and beyond. We will never forget him and his wonderful family. Apartment was very nice and clean with separate aircons both in the bedroom and living room. We were supplied with plenty of clean towels throughout our stay and new bedsheets. Nice and quiet beach in walkable distance from the property as well as a bus stop to take you to the town or Anse Royal beach which takes just a couple minutes to get to by bus and is really beautiful. Small grocery shop just 1 minute walk away. Local people are very friendly and nice to talk to. This place was the best we could ever ask for and if we ever come back to Seychelles we know where to go :-) This really is a piece of heaven on earth. No wonder why people are so happy here.

The mountain view is amazing. The hosts are beautiful and nice people, great communication and the apartment was super clean, cleaned every 2 days with new sheets and towel change. I definitely will recommend you stay here.

We had a wonderful time at the Dar & Douce. The room was very spacious and clean, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the mountains. Peter and Indra were so very helpful and very kind, so we felt very welcomed. There is a beautiful beach just a short 5-10 minutes walk down the road, and a little mini market also less than 2-3 minutes away. We can highly recommend this place. I give this apartment a 5 star. Peter is a great host. Love the building and all the amenities. Waking up to an early morning sun rise and ocean view. Recommend having a car though as the building is a little up the hill. Apart from that I enjoyed the apartment and would definitely recommend .

Ausgesprochen freundliche Hosts, viel Hilfe und Infos. as Apartment ist super sauber, alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Internet bis zu 10mbit über wifi ohne disconnects. Es gibt sogar ZDF im TV. Man hat einen tollen Überblick über Au Cap und bis zum Meer. Selbes ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Nähe ist das tolle Restaurant Marenga (Google Maps) Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, bei dem es an nichts gefehlt hat

I highly recommend Dar & Douce Apartment to those who are planning to travel for leisure or for work, this place is perfect for you. The hosts of the apartment Mr. Peter and Mrs. Indra are very hospitable, they became our mother and father during our stay. They are very approachable and we saw that helping other people is truly in their hearts. We stayed their for 9 days for our quarantine and they provided all our needs. The apartment is well maintained, very neat, peaceful and with spectacular view. Indeed, satisfaction is what they offer! So what are you waiting for, book now!

Exemplary welcome.
Checked in for 2 days as unexpectedly needed extra accommodation due to flight rescheduling. Welcome fantastic and all modern conveniences. Possible to stay utilising public transport, however a hire car, at least for a few days, is beneficial to explore the beaches all around.

100% Better than we could have hoped for
Our hosts were truly amazing, friendly, generous, and caring. Pete sent a driver to meet our ungodly 2:30 am flight. Indra was gracious to drive us to a quick tour of the area and helped us shop for some supplies. Our stay was perfect, even with one day of heavy rain, the apartment is so relaxing, we did not mind staying in and chilling. They arranged for a private driver to do a day tour. Chelo was excellent. The only bad part was we were only there for three days; we would have loved another day or two.

The property was amazing. The owners and the staff were very helpful with any and everything between cleaning, recommendations for places to go, and even the owner personally coming to get us when our navigation system led us to the wrong location. Definitely recommend the location and would stay there again on any return trips to Seychelles.

Perfect stay!
We had a wonderful 8 night stay. This property is 5 stars all the way! We had everything we needed for self-catering and a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean. Indra and Peter were very helpful hosts. We would highly recommend these apartments.
