'To call this a 3-star hotel is an absolute understatement.
This boutique hotel is full of charm and character, offering an experience that far exceeds its rating.
We stayed in the Deluxe Ocean Front room, which was stunning. The room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and spotless, and the private balcony was the icing on the cake.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They accommodated our early travel schedule by packing us a breakfast to-go on the first day...

'This is a lovely historic house presented with style and charm, and high standards. The staff provide the best service and are very attentive. Setting is just gorgeous with visiting shy groups of purple-faced leaf monkeys and peacocks passing through along the high walls and trees from time as you sit in the cool palm filled courtyards. And added, an excellent menu with both traditional and modern mix so well presented and tasty served in a lovely restaurant-bar setting on the deep verandahs. '

'Courteous staff, a quiet, comfortable room and super catering in a superbly fitted out property made this a fantastic stay!
Okay, so someone had stolen the TV (joking; there isn’t one in the room, but there is fast, free wifi), but if you want to be in the centre of the Galle Fort action, I reckon few properties can beat this one!'

'Staff were so lovely and helpful!! Went out of their way to assist and help with transport also. We loved the breakfast - plenty of food. Property was kept very clean and tidy throughout. Would definitely stay again '

'The rooms are lovely in this little boutique hotel, it is located at the top of Gaul fort and easy to park and find. The staff are very good and helpful. They make good coffee. We didn’t eat here other than a dessert but the quality was good. The restaurant is small though and there are no other facilities but for a comfortable room you can’t go wrong '

'My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel, and had a great seven days stay. The room was spotless and was cleaned twice a day, the pool was a welcome treat to escape the heat, and the large various of food was incredibly tasty. The people working there, Dilan and Sherman, made sure we always had everything we needed, and even went as far to prepare a take away breakfast for the days with an early start. Shamika was always ready to answer any of our questions and give amazing advice regarding...
'The villa is built as an old roman villam with an open patio with pillars untill the roof and a pond in the floor. The rooms are spacious. Super safe and quiet. A lovely garden in which you can have breakfast. '
'Normally I’m not the person who writes reviews. But this hotel really deserves a good review. Its was great staying for me. Great interior design, cozy, clean. Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees.

Vi havde et alle tiders kæmpe tre lige uden foran og om morgenen, da vi skulle spise morgenmad, var aberne meget interesserede.
Det var en morgenmad, som var inklusiv i opholdet, men det blev bragt til værelset til aftalt tid og man kunne komme med ønsker om preferencer.
Tillige fik vi en mygge skåner.
Vi havde brug for transport og stedet havde en mand ansat, der gerne kørte os til adskillige oplevelser og endda...
