'It situated right in the town centre. A bit chaotic. The bathroom and toilet had no lock and male and female was sharing, that was stressful having to keep an eye on the door.'

'OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. 'I had to pay for confirmation, even though I already booked with a credit card. The room was meh, with leaky faucets that didn't work most of the time. The bed was small and the room was noisy. It was OK for the one night we were staying, but I don't think we'll come back in the future'

'The houseboat is located in a marina which looks a bit rundown, a car is absolutely necessary to go to Rochester or any other nearby village. The owners have been renovating the property for the past few years and indeed our room was nicely decorated and clean. 'The service was nice, especially being able to check out at anytime. I missed the option to get breakfast though, a lot of shops were closed until 10 AM and the hotel itself doesn't serve breakfast. Another thing is that the WiFi doesn't reach to the second floor. Other than this it was a nice stay though and for the price this was to be expected'
