Beautiful property in a quiet area of Makanda. We made several trips to Giant City State Park which was extremely convenient.We had to contact the host several times and Allison was very speedy with her responses and resolved a couple of minor issues that we experienced. We had 5 seniors in our party and we all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our week.

Friends annual fishing trip
We have been coming to the southern Illinois area for over 25 years for our annual fishing trip. We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and each had their own unique experiences. Most positive, some not so much. Hartline was a fantastic experience, and our group loved the property. Accessing location and amenities were perfect. One of the best things I enjoyed personally was how the property owner or manager was very responsive to texts or emails.
