Family Friendly Lakehouse Cedar Creek Lake

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakehouse. Come and play at Cedar Creek Lake. Great lake house for families and friends to get away from city life. Located about 90 mins from Dallas. Enjoy the lake on the boat dock, or take a swim or paddle on the kayaks. When not enjoying the water, play in the yard or the wooden fort swing set for the kids & basketball goal. 2 of the upstairs bedrooms open up onto the upstairs balcony with a great view of the lake for additional relaxation space

We have 4 bedrooms. The Master has a king bed. 2 of the upstairs bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd upstairs bedroom has 2 twins. The living room has a pull-out bed (queen) and the love seat (twin) has a pull-out bed.
3 people can sleep in the living room on the couch and loveseat.
The pull-out beds are best for kids but adults can use them too.

You will be able to access the whole property except 2 owners` closets and a large separated garage from the house

The required 7% hotel tax is included in your rental rate.
House Rules:

1. No Smoking of any type, (Vapes, e-cigarettes, etc)

2. No pets allowed

3. No Parties ( we have neighbors so keep noises to a min.)
but keep it to the number of registered guests.
See city rules below on noise.

4. Check-in is anytime after 4 PM CST (Unless other arrangements have been made)

5. No parking on the street or grass. Plenty of concrete parking in the driveway.

6. Check out by 10 am CST

7. Please leave the lake house the way you found it. No need to make the beds on check-out day. Leave all the beds unmade. Please place towels on the floor of the laundry room. Please start the dishwasher with any last-minute dishes etc. I will put them away.

8. If you use something please replace it for other guests.

9. No Fireworks (it`s illegal in our City)

10. No fire in the Fireplaces or boat dock.

11. We have a fire pit to use at your own risk. Please pour water on the fire when you are done. Do not leave it unattended.

12. Please, only toilet paper down the toilet. NO Kleenex, NO paper towels, NO Tampons, NO Wipes. Please dispose of it in the trash. We are on a septic system.

13. You can use the boat dock but please stay off the boat and jet skis. For safety, the use of the boat, jet ski, or Boat Lift(s) is not included. No fires on the boat dock.

14. Kayaks in the shed can be used, and a life jacket must be worn at all times. The owner is not responsible for injury or the risk of drowning. It`s encouraged to have supervision at all times when operating. Use at your own risk. We have a variety of sizes of life jackets. Other flotation devices can be played within the little shed these are not intended to be life preservers only for play.

15. All gas equipment should be properly turned on and off. If you are unsure how to use the gas equipment, please call.

16. Only the number of guests on the reservation who are allowed on the property are the ones listed on the booking/rental agreement.

17. The house is split-level and has stairs.

18. Surveillance on the property for security purposes only. (outside only)

19 A 7% city tax invoice is included in your nightly rate.

20. For smaller kids we have a swing set, slide, and a fort. The swings are stored in the small shed.

21. We have a cornhole and fuse ball game in the garage for you to use.

22. We have an extra propane bottle in the small storage building. If you run out of propane you can disconnect and reconnect it. Just leave the empty bottle on the patio so I can replace it.

23. Please NO glitter. Glitter is very hard to clean up and remove. If Glitter is found an extra cleaning fee of $100 will be charged.

24. Travel Insurance is highly recommended. The host is not responsible for Airline delays, Traffic, weather, or any other delays. No refunds for these or anything else for a delay in your trip. All VRBO cancellations are subject to a Stripe credit card fee for refund.

25. A photo is required on the STR site (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.)

Ask about early-bird arrivals and late checkouts. When available. An extra fee may apply.

City of Star Harbor Regulations:
1. This is a residential neighborhood. Please keep noise, especially exterior music, at reasonable levels. Quiet time starts at 10:00 pm with very little tolerance for violations.

2. Do not trespass onto a neighbor’s property, including yard(s) and/or boat dock or pier.

3. Public intoxication or lewdness will not be tolerated.

4. City speed limits are marked at 20 mph and 30 mph. Stop signs are enforced.

5. Park on approved hard-surfaced areas only(10 spots available in the driveway). Overflow parking is allowed on the vacant lot west of City Hall.

6. The city’s 9-hole golf course is available to the public for a $15(CASH OR CHECK ONLY) per round per player green fee. Sign-in and payment are to be made at the City Hall building. Keep a copy of your receipt with you for golf marshaling purposes. (Golf Cart Rental NOT available). Can walk or bring your golf cart down.

7. Fishing requires a Texas fishing license for anyone 17 years of age and older.

8. The Star Harbor boat ramp is available for loading/unloading your boat and for daily parking for a $5 fee per day per vehicle. Instructions are posted at the boat ramp. Payment is placed in the dropbox by the boat ramp and your receipt is to be posted on the dashboard of your vehicle.

9. The State of Texas requires a boater education class or equivalent for anyone born after September 1, 1993, to operate a boat or jet ski. Those aged 13 and under are prohibited from operating any watercraft.

10. The Star Harbor Police Department patrols regularly.

Violation of any of the rules could result in you being asked to leave early with NO refunds.
