Property was easy to find in the host was absolutely exceptional. Beth responded quickly to all of our questions and even reach out proactively to make sure we had everything we needed including a topper for the pull-out couches such a thoughtful touch. 'This historical home is just so cool. My kids kept finding new treasures throughout the home. We used it as homebase for my son's wedding and extended family and friends were very comfortable. 'Place was amazing! My boys and I(19&24 yr olds) had a great time! Place had everything we needed and some! It was very clean and tidy. It was relaxing and peaceful. We caught some rainbow trout early morning and had a crane visit every morning! Hiked nearby Cascade Mountain for some amazing views of the high peaks... As well as a few rounds of golf in Malone. Hope to return again.'

The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked, the screen room is perfect for coffee in the morning, the fishing (off the shore) is fantastic, the boats are plenty and the memories we make here are priceless! We are return campers year after year! Mary responds quickly to any messages. If you are looking for a rustic get-a-way in a very private setting this place is perfect! 'The location was great. It is central to a lot of fun family-friendly locations: Whiteface Mtn and all the Olympic attractions. The house is small, but cozy. The air conditioning struggled a little to reach the downstairs bedroom. All of the other amenities were fantastic. '

'The house was very clean'

'We stayed at the lodge in July. We brought our own kayaks and left at the shoreline. We had a couple excursions paddling past the locks one day, and the next day to to the island in Kiwassa Lake for lunch, fishing and a swim.Location is close enough to walk into town for dinner and shopping. My husband enjoyed a rainbow trout at the RiverTrail beer works. Host was on property and available to help us.'

'My family (my husband and four boys, ages 4-12) and I stayed here for a few days so that we could explore the area and also just enjoy some relaxing time together. The property is not too far from several areas of interest (Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, etc). The house itself was perfect for our family, the rooms were exactly as described on the listing, and everything was clean and up to date. It was a very pleasant place for us to prepare all our meals and to play games and spend time together....
