'The dryer wasn't working and they brought a portable dryer. We were advised that they would have a replacement the next day. No one came to check or even bother to call to ask. Such an inconvenience when trying to complete laundry.
Had to ask for the second TV remote for the room.
A proper check for the room and facilities needs to be conducted before guests check in.'

'Property is great. Room and facilities are ideal. Split system in living area and another in the bedroom. Washing machine and dryer. Large balcony. Property is on second floor with stairs up to it. This was not a problem for us. It is also very central to lobby, adult pool and main pool. I.e. if you're at the pools and wish to duck back to grab the sunscreen it's not an issue. The resort is well kept and has great facilities. The restaurant s on site are all good. We had friends at the Sheraton...

'My friends and I booked this stay at the last minute because we wanted an adventure and to get a feel for the 'real' Fiji. This homestay did not disappoint. Our host Bill and his wife Paula were absolutely wonderful. Bill is an excellent communicator who is prompt, professional and honest. He happily answered all of our questions and organised all of our transport and activities. Paula is an incredible chef and every meal we ate was full of local produce, either grown on their farm or caught on...

'This is a scam! Do not book! Despite having booking confirmation from Expedia, there was no accommodation available and I had to resort to finding emergency accommodation at 6pm during a very busy time for Nadi where safe accommodation was extremely hard to find and ended up being ridiculously expensive.
Expedia apparently need approval/confirmation from the apartment manager to issue a refund and to no surprise, they are not answering nor calling back.
These apartments should be...

'We were picked up and brought directly to our homestay. Their son took us to snorkeling with the sharks, very happy and professional. We always felt safe and part of the family. A family member had passed away amd they included all 7 of the homeestays in all of the true Fijian traditions. We felt like honored guests. We would definitely recommend staying here.'

'Ocean View is a must-stay homestay for anyone looking to experience true Fiji time.
As a solo traveler, the room was perfect — clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Vil and Paola took amazing care of me and always made sure I was comfortable. While the food was a bit pricey, the portions were massive as long as you are an adventurous eater — depite this I never finished a full plate!
I was the only traveler on the island during my stay, which pushed me out of my comfort zone and led to some of the...
