Very old property but nicely renovated. A bit too pricey for the accommodation. The included breakfast was good. I was forced to book late because my booking in Chester cancelled and left me with little time or choice. I was told it was due to renovations not complete. Not ideal. I do not think reservations should be accepted if the property is not ready for occupancy.

I booked a room with 2 double beds, but got one King bed. Felt rushed during checkin so didn’t get much feedback and suggestions on things to see or where to eat. Room was subpar in cleanliness. Felt morel like a motel than a quaint bed and breakfast as advertised. Continental breakfast was not my idea of what should be served at a bed and breakfast. Will not return.
