Security would not deliver my bags to room because small pair of grooming scissors was contained within my vanity set. This made checking in and getting settled to rest after 28 hour international flights quite agitating especially considering steak knives are accessible once past “security”. My wife and I had a great experience at Solaire, great dining, gambling and of course our room, everything about Solaire were outstanding , this will be our destination every time we’re in Manila, my only concern was that the they let a lot of not properly dressed patrons coming to the Casino, no collared shirts, slippers and too many annoying bystanders smoking and watch you gamble, Solaire needs to uphold their Standards.

My girlfriend and I arrived at the hotel, the staff was attentive and got our bags at the front of the hotel. It was convenient, but the pool was far from the bay building, took us in an elevator which it looked a bit sketchy to ride back and forth, no stairs, but overall walk all the way from our room to the pool area. The foods and beverages were good, but the breakfast buffet staff was not attentive to our needs much, just come and go. The room was average with the bay view, but not worth the high cost of staying there, looked average with the quality. Overall, it was average rated hotel, even though it looked extravagant, the quality for the room is not highly expected. v:

We stayed in 2 other top rated hotels in Manila and 1 in Boracay, and this was by far the best. The pool deck is beautiful, lots of restaurants and shops, casino, friendly professional staff. The colorful water fountains and scenic view of downtown from our room topped off a great stay. We will be back.
