'Lost Lake cottage was a clean and warm (during an exceptionally cold week) and a reasonably supplied home. The appliances were older but functional as we chose to eat all our meals in. We had messaged Pictured Rocks to ask the host or owner to add some towel racks in the bathroom. There was nowhere to dry our towels except on hangars in our bedroom closet. They replied that such amenity would be added. Though the home small for four men, it met our needs for the week after our first private...

'We took a winter weekend get-away. This cabin is centered between Eben Cave (a beautiful ice cave that takes some hiking to get to) and Valley Spur (great groomed cross-country ski trails) and Pictured Rock (where we went snow-shoeing). We came back to this nice, cozy, warm cabin each night for dinner. It was so nice to sit by the fireplace- so nice and relaxing. The bed was super comfortable too. It was fun to see all the deer out back of the cabin. We would recommend!'

'There aren’t many options to stay in the UP. This was a little out of the way but the property was well designed and had some nice amenities. That being said, we would not choose to stay here again because of the strong smell of sewer gas.
Pros: plenty of space, huge master bath, nice view
Cons: pillows were extremely flat, no extra blankets, strong smell of sewer gas'

'We had an incredible experience at this little cabin. It was very clean and cozy. The hot tub was wonderful. It was decorated for Christmas/winter which was perfect for us. The hosts made it very easy to adjust our check-in date due to a blizzard coming into the area. They checked in on us often with the weather, kept us updated with road closures, brought us food when we were snowed in, and were just very personable and thoughtful! We have stayed at several rentals and these hosts by far made...

'We had a great time. We caught a lot of fish out of Autrain Lake. Superior beach was just down the road and nice and sandy..looking for falls is always fun. Jake and Erin were wonderful. We would recommend it.'
