Gezellige, comfortabele studio aan het meer

Gunstig gelegen in het noorden van centraal Wisconsin, vlak bij US HWY 51 (I-39) aan het prachtige Manitowish Lake in Manitowish Waters WI. Manitowish Lake is een van de ongerepte Manitowish Chain of Lakes met tien meren. Birchwood is een open studio-hut met een groot bed en een tweepersoons slaapbank (maximaal 4). Vanuit de grote kamer kunnen gasten genieten van een rustig uitzicht op de nabijgelegen oever en de majestueuze hemlock- en berkenbomen die ons omringen. De cabine heeft een volledig uitgeruste keuken, handdoeken en beddengoed voorzien, bad met douche, barbecue, Direct TV, waterfietsen en vissersboot met 15 pk motor inbegrepen. Boot slip is beschikbaar voor uw eigen boot. Zwemmen en snorkelen buiten het dok. Cabine op slechts 44 ft van het water. Enkele van de beste basvissen met kleine mond in Noord-Amerika. Ook zijn alle 10 meren van de Manitowish-keten klasse A muskusachtig. Routebeschrijving: Slechts 23 mijl ten noorden van Minocqua op US Highway 51 (I- 39). Sla linksaf (West) naar Powell Rd; ga in een mijl linksaf (zuid) naar Alder Lake Rd; in ongeveer een mijl kijken voor ons bord (Tom en Karen Everson) op 13412. We kijken uit naar je bezoek.

Peaceful retreat

Very clean, whole property is well kept, owners are readily available and we enjoyed visiting with them on the pier over coffee. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen well stocked, the view of the lake from the cottage is amazing Very quiet for sleeping and convenient to Manitowish Waters for shopping.

Beautiful and relaxing

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful lakefront setting, this is the place! The owners are on-site, very helpful, and genuinely kind. They took care of anything we needed promptly while being respectful of our privacy. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable—even offering their basement bedroom during a record heatwave (we didn’t need to use it, but the offer was appreciated).The property is beautifully landscaped and perfectly located—right on the lake and close to town. The dock was a favorite spot to enjoy our morning coffee or try our luck fishing, and the fire pit area offered a great view in the evenings. Having access to a small boat was a nice bonus; we used it to fish and explore the connected lakes.The cabin was small but charming—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We both slept better than we do at home and even enjoyed cooking a few meals there. During a power outage, the generator and A/C made a huge difference and kept things comfortable for the two of us.We also enjoyed exploring the town and local restaurants. Some Nerve Brewing had some great beers to try, and Manny's was a fun spot on the weekend with live music and a lively outdoor seating area. There's a huge bike trail system nearby, so definitely bring your bikes!

Could not imagine a more perfect place for lake fishing

This cabin was heaven on earth for my husband. He could use the small boat to go out fishing whenever he wanted. The host, Tom, clued him in to all the good fishing spots. Both hosts were very lovely. The cabin was perfection inside as well as outside; well located for groceries and restaurants, yet super quiet. We are already planning our next trip here!

Birchwood Reconnect

Great stay! Property was amazing tucked into the north woods with great lake front views. Cabin had a north woods feel was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, the dock was nice for docking boat and fishing was toss in a line and a fish hits (we were going for pan fish with worms but did get a couple small bass also). We enjoyed the cabin, fire pit, swimming in the lake using the floating swim platform, the paddle boards and paddle boat. Lake was great for skiing! Tom & Karen were great host and great company!

Manitowish Waters Getaway

We stayed for a wonderful week at this cozy cabin on Manitowish Lake. The hosts were excellent and very friendly/helpful. We brought our own boat and spent a lot of time exploring the 10 connecting lakes. Our hosts gave us great recommendations/maps for fishing. Relaxing in the chairs on the dock was a great way to spend evenings. We visited delicious restaurants/supper clubs in the area (hosts provided lots of pamphlets about local establishments). We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy cabin getaway. We will be back next year!!

Manitowish Waters Studio on the Lake!

Staying at this property was truely a pleasure with the beautiful scenery and being able to use the dock, kyaks and fishing boat. Quiet Relaxing Getaway

Cabin had a beautiful view of the lake. All the little touches showed how much the hosts wanted to welcome you and put your comfort at the forefront. Very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated cabin. Highly recommend staying with Tom and Karen. Would definitely stay here again!
