'Lovely stay at this hotel. Only downside was the queue when checking in and lack of options to buy a bottle of cold water when I got back on Saturday night.'

'Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area. 'Good facilities and really good size room. There were no spare pillows in the room (I don't want to have to ask), no toilet brush in the rest room which is fine if maid service makes a good job of cleaning the toilet; which they didn't. Beginning of mould in shower could have done with a deep clean in bathroom.No air conditioning in rooms really isn't good enough in this day and age. Also used for corporate clients/company retreats/training and they seemed a bit rowdy, need to actively manage...

'Ideal location plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Room clean and plenty of parking nearby. Lovely cooked breakfast.'

'We had a lovely time, just a few things that slightly dampened the experience. Need black out blinds in the family room as the light was streaming through until late and with the heat as well the children couldn't get to sleep until it went dark. The gastro pub food l would give a miss in future, very bland, dry and of poor quality but high prices. We would 100% come back though.'

'Mooie locatie in de heuvels. In de directe omgeving niks te beleven. Het was voor ons echt een auto oplaadpunt waardoor wij hier verbleven. De kamers zijn ouderwets maar wel schoon! Bed was prima.!'
