My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.'

'The new owners of the Greyhound Inn had only taken over on the 1st of August we arrived on the 4th and while there were obviously a few little hiccups with the handover Veranik and her husband together with the staff made us more than welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The food was good both the breakfast and the evening meals.
The Inn is ideally suited as a base with so many attractions in the area including several national trust houses. Most enjoyable we will definitely...
