'We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect.

We had a view over the high street in Broadstairs.
Breakfast good - main hot dish and buffet dishes. We ate at the Royal Albion in the evening and had a very good meal.'

"The room was old , a lot of noise in the rooms from the other guests. The bed was realy bad there was a holl in the matras where every guest has slept. We got a drink i the bar. The young girl brought the wrong drinks.
